Polish Addict Nail Color Hand in My Pocket

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  How is everyone's weekend going so far?  My youngest is sick so we're just hanging around the house being lazy.  Good times!  Today I have a couple polishes from Polish Addict Nail Color (PANC), Hand in My Pocket and Last Kiss as the accent.  PANC released a 90's Playlist collection recently full of great polishes.  I snagged these two.  Hand in My Pocket is a gorgeous blue holo.  It was perfect in two coats.  I picked up Last Kiss because Mr. MLiP is a huge Pearl Jam fan and I just had to have it.  It took three coats and did dry with a bit of texture to it.  I top coated all of it and it was fine.

I really enjoyed wearing these.  I was singing these songs the whole time.  Go give PANC a like on facebook to keep up to date with upcoming releases or promotions.  The shop is closed right now but I believe it's opening back up on Sept 1st.

Until next time...

Zoya Ignite for Fall 2014

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  Today I have my review of the Zoya Ignite collection for fall 2014.  These six polishes are so cool!  They have a great sparkle to them which is usually the only way to get me to wear fall colors.  So lets dive right in!

First up is Sansa a blackened purple with gold shimmer.  This polish has great coverage.  I used two coats and top coat.

Next is Teigen, a violet plum with gold shimmer.  Again two coats was perfect.  The formula is similar to Sansa.

This pretty polish is India.  I don't have a sun and shade photo for this one because it was overcast the day I wore it.  It's still so gorgeous though.  Formula is just like the previous polishes.  This is two coats and top coat.

Yuna is probably my second favorite of the bunch.  It's a gray with copper and gold shimmer.  Two coats and it was perfect.  It was overcast this day too so no sun shot.

Remy is an indigo with copper and gold shimmer.  This is my absolute favorite but I know that's no shock to you all.  This was almost perfect in one coat.  I did two and top coat for the photos.  Remy applied with the same great formula as the others.

I know this one is a bit blurry on the pinky but I just had to show off that shimmer.

Lastly is Autumn, a gorgeous copper.  This polish is fall in bottle folks!  It was a bit thinner than the others in the collection but was still opaque in two coats.

All in all I love these and that's saying a lot for me.  I'm not a fall color kinda girl.  Zoya just does these kind of shimmers so well.  It reminds me of my all time favorite Zoya collection, Sparkle, but with fall colors.  You can purchase these polishes and tons more on zoya.com.  Zoya's facebook page is here.  Give them a like so you'll be up to date on new collections and promos.

Until next time...

Celestial T's in a Tizz

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  So I guess you could say that today's mani is from the vault.  I was doing some clean up in my picture files and found this that I had never shown you.  This is Celestial T's in a Tizz.  I don't remember how many coats this was (I know, bad Sara!) but I do remember really liking the formula and application.  This color is gorgeous!  I gave you a shade shot at the end so you could get a better idea of the green color.

I hope you have a great Saturday!

Until next time...

Born Pretty Store Stamper Review

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have a review of a stamper from Born Pretty Store.  The stamper was sent for review.  I purchased all the polishes and plates used today.  The stamper is a rectangular, which I love.  It's not as hard as my konad stamper but not anywhere as squishy as my xl stamper.  I used two of Rica's stamping polishes, light purple and pink.  As you can see I have some incomplete images on my nails.  Two things caused this, one, you have to roll the stamper across the nail.  Just pressing straight down didn't work like it does with my squishy stamper.  Second, the stamper was having trouble picking up full images.  You can see that most of my images are missing the very edge.  No matter what I tried I couldn't get nice crisp edges.

I'm not ready to give up on this rectangle stamper.  I really want it to work for me.  So I'm going to keep practicing and see if it's me or the stamper.  Born Pretty has a ton of different nail art items.  Click here to check out the shop and here to go right to the stamper.  The code FEMJ61 will save you 10% on regular priced items.  I hope you all have a great day!

Until next time...

Messy Jessi Porcelain Berry

*Purchased by me*

Hey guys!  Today I have a new to the blog brand, Messy Jessi.  This is my first time ordering from Messy Jessi and I couldn't be more pleased.  The maker is in a small Arizona nail lovers group with me and when she posted the pre-order info I couldn't resist Porcelain Berry.  You guys know of my epic love for this color family.  Porcelain Berry was so smooth and creamy (I always think of butter when I say that).  I used two coats and top coat for photos today.  My accent nail is Salon Perfect Mad About Mod.  I was super worried about bubbling on this one after my issues with a similar glitter from them but I'm happy to report this came out well.

I really have nothing but great things to say about my first experience with Messy Jessi.  Doesn't hurt that we are in the same state so I got my polish super fast.  If you guys want to check out the shop for yourselves chick here.  Sally's Sportscar is next on my list from this shop.  Have a great Monday!

Until next time...

NailNation 3000 Stay Off the Grass

*Purchased by me*

It's Friday!  It's Friday!  It's Friday!  I'm doing my happy dance because it's Friday!  Okay I'm done now.  Today I have a gorgeous holo mani for you.  This is NailNation 3000 Stay Off the Grass with a Hit Polish Nail Lacquer Purple Reign accent.  The first coat of Stay Off the Grass was a little thin but the second coat made it perfect.  Maria of NailNation sure can make some great holos.

I'm loving this shade of purple as well.  I will definitely be wearing this as a full mani here soon.  Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Until next time...

Color Club Peace, Love & Polish

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  Happy Wednesday!  Today's mani is Color Club Peace, Love & Polish.  This polish is so so gorgeous.  I love shimmers!  To make it even better the formula was really great.  Two coats and top coat.  Perfectly opaque and even.  My accent nail is Rainbow Honey Waves with Neon Blossoms on top.  This mani probably would have been better with a different accent but oh well.  These are all great polishes.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day.

Until next time...

Orly Mentality Mayhem

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  I've been participating in an untrieds challenge in a nail group on facebook so I have a bunch of random manis to show you all.  My friend Sam of Sammy Gail's Nails is the on that set up the challenge so if you'd like to see more go check her out and give her a follow.  Today's theme was neon.  Neons can be hard to find in my untrieds because I love them so much and tend to wear them really quickly.  I found Orly Mentality Mayhem, a gorgeous neon orange, and Color Club British Invasion, neon pink and blue and white glitters.  Mentality Mayhem was a bit fussy as far as formula and application.  Pretty normal for a neon.  Three coats evened it out pretty well though.  British Invasion is great and applied so well in one coat.

I'm currently wearing this mani and don't ever want to take it off.  That's unusual for me.  What is your favorite neon polish?  I can never have too many neons.  Have a great day all!

Until next time...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Ocean Warmed by the Sun

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  Let me start by saying today's post has a ton of photos.  Way more than I normally give you but I just love this so much that I couldn't narrow it down.  This is from the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) summer collection, Far From the Sun.  I showed you five of the polishes from that collection that I received for review here.  When they went on sale I finished off the collection and picked up the ones I didn't have yet.  This is Ocean Warmed by the Sun with an accent nail of If You're a Seascape, also from that collection.  These holos have the best formula.  I used two coats of each polish and it was perfect!

I couldn't resist seeing how Ocean Warmed by the Sun stamped so I used it to stamp on my accent nail.  Worked really well I think.  Right now most of the collection is not available in the BEGL shop but due to how popular it was Julie (the brains behind the indie), will be restocking it on August 17th at 3:30 pm edt.  Here's the link to the shop so you can check out what's available and so you have it at the ready for the restock.  You can find BEGL on facebook here.

Until next time...

Zoya Naturel Deux (2) Review

*Provided for review*

Hello!  Today I have my review of the new Zoya Naturel Deux (2) collection.  A great six piece neutrals collection.  So lets jump right in shall we?  First up is Chanelle.  This is two coats of a super easy to apply formula with top coat.  I'd say the shade picture is closer to the actual color I saw on my nails.  You know I like to give you both a sun and shade photo though.

Next up is Spencer.  This again is two coats and top coat.  The formula is exactly what we've all come to expect from Zoya creams.  It's great!  Now you guys know I love my bright manis but this really seems to work with my skin tone.

Next I have Madeline.  This is two coats and top coat.  This had the most amazing formula!  It was so creamy and wonderful.

Emilia is up next.  This is a dark chocolate cream.  I used two coats and top coat.  This one was a bit runnier than the the others in this collection.  That said it still had full coverage at two coats and evened itself out pretty well.

This pretty polish is Aubrey.  I used two coats and top coat.  The formula and application on this one was great.

Lastly we have Marney.  This is slightly darker than Aubrey.  I'm being repetitive but again the formula was great, two coats and top coat shown.

So there you have it!  I'd love to know which ones are your favorites.  Zoya Naturel Deux is available for order now on zoya.com.  Be sure to like Zoya on facebook.  You never know when a promo may be headed your way.

Until next time...

Sara
