Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Chlorine Light

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  How is everyone's weekend so far?  I spent my day mattress shopping with the husband and my boys.  Ugh!  Not sure what I was thinking taking the boys along.  So let's get to why you are really here, the mani!  This gorgeous is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) Chlorine Light.  It's a gorgeous blue holo with a fantastic two coat formula.  It was pretty opaque with one coat so I bet you could stamp with it.  I added an accent nail using Nail Vinyls and BEGL Dawn Breaks.

Luckily the sun was out for a while this morning so I got some great shots of this.  Shortly after the clouds rolled in and we got some wicked storms.  We've had some outrageous rain here in the desert the last few weeks.  Like record setting rain totals.  Here is the BEGL shop so you can get some pretty polishes of your own and here is the facebook page.  Give BEGL a like.  There is a super cute Halloween collection being released soon.  I've been on a polish no buy recently but will break it for some of those.

Have a great night!

Lacquer by Lissa Halloween Decals

*Press Sample*

Okay so I know it's not even October yet but I really wanted to show you guys these awesome decals now so you'd have plenty of time to get some before Halloween.  I did a quick cling wrap mani using Rica Whiteout, Zoya Mira and China Glaze Recycle.  Then I put on an assortment of Halloween decals from Lacquer by Lissa.  I love the witch but the jack o lanterns are my favorite!  Just like the other decals I showed you these were super easy to use.  I used tweezers to pick them of the backing and place them on the nail.  Sealed it all up with top coat and I was good to go for a few days.

So what do you think?  Are you ready for Halloween manis?  I know I'm ready for Halloween candy!  Head on over to the Lacquer by Lissa shop and pick up some Halloween decals.  Follow along on facebook to keep up to date on all the latest information.  I'm sure you will be seeing these decals again as it gets closer to Halloween.  I want to try them out with a glow in the dark polish.  Have a great night!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer LE Sunburned Siren

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  Today I have the next polish in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Limited Edition Siren line.  I freakin love this one!  This is Sunburned Siren.  Two coats of orangey-coraly goodness.  I did use top coat as well.  This does dry with just a touch of texture but it was completely smooth with a coat of Rica Glossy Glam.

I'm just so very in love with this.  I plan on using it for my next pedicure color.  It's still very much sandal weather here so I will be rocking this one.  I believe there is a new Siren each month.  I can't wait to see what next month holds.  This will be available on Sept 21 in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop.  Have a great night everyone!

Lacquer by Lissa Fall Leaves Decals

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I was sent some nail decals from Lacquer by Lissa to review.  I received a great grab bag of different decals.  I can not wait to show you guys the Halloween ones.  The other day I put on China Glaze Choo Choo Choose You.  It pretty much screams fall.  In the sun it looks sort of purple and inside it pulls more brown.  Anyway, I knew these fall decals would be perfect for this mani.  Lacquer by Lissa decals were super easy to use.  I used tweezers to pull them from the paper backing and place them on the nail.  They stayed where I wanted them to once on my nail.  Then I just used my finger to smooth over it and make sure it was fully on the nail.  Top coated the whole thing and was good to go.

These decals are thick enough that I didn't feel like I was going to rip them while applying but not so thick that they stuck way off the nail.

I'm hoping by wearing this mani it will encourage some fall-like weather here in the desert but I don't think it's working.  So hot you guys!  Be sure to stop by the Lacquer by Lissa shop and check out the other decals.  I want the Peace, Love and Nails set.  So cool!  Also give her a like on facebook to keep up to date with giveaways and new sets.

Have a great night!

Lynnderella Love You!

Hey all!  During my recent untrieds challenge on of the days was higher end polishes.  So I paired Rescue Beauty Lounge Reveillon, a gorgeous polish on it's own, with my one and only Lynnderella Love You.  In one of my nail groups we were talking about brands we've never tried and one of mine was Lynnderella.  A lovely girl sent me a Lynn just because!  So awesome of her.

I put one coat of Love You over Reveillon.  I've had issues with RBL's not wearing very well on me but topped with the RBL and top coat this mani wore like iron.

Have a great Thursday!  Thanks for stopping by.

Rica The Gnome Made Me Do It

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  Every now and again a polish comes along that makes me swoon.  Today I have one of those polishes to show you.  This is Rica The Gnome Made Me Do It.  Rica does a collaboration box with Stardust polish each month and this polish is from the very first month.  I was in the process of buying the box when I got cart-jacked.  I hate missing out on pretty polishes especially when they are gnome related!  Luckily a lovely lady in one of my nail groups offered to sell me hers when she heard I missed out.  Yay!

This is two coats plus top coat for photos.  One coat of The Gnome Made Me Do It was almost perfect.  I added a quick gradient to some accent nails using Color Club Pinky Swear.  I just love the little teal bits in Pinky Swear.

I wish I could show you all this mani in person.  SO much better!  Head over to Rica's shop and check out all the cool polishes.  If you stamp be sure to check out the stamping line.  It's phenomenal.   Have a great night everyone!

Until next time...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Seashore

*Purchased by me*

Hey everyone!  Today I have a quick and easy mani featuring a limited edition polish from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, Siren Seashore, and China Glaze So Blue Without You.  Siren Seashore was a limited edition that sadly is no longer available but it's so pretty I had to show it off.  I used three coats of Siren Seashore and two coats of So Blue Without You.  So Blue is seriously one of my favorite blues.

While Siren Seashore is no longer for sale, there is another polish form the LE Siren line coming up later this month I believe.  You can see a sneak peek on Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's facebook page.  Have you tried out BEGL yet?  If not, you should!  BEGL is one of my absolute favorite indies.  Have a nice night!

Until next time...

Zoya Entice for Fall 2014

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have my review of the Zoya Entice collection.  This is the cream half of Zoya's fall offerings.  I showed you the Ignite collection here.  First up is Margo.  This is two coats and top coat.  This has that awesome cream formula that we expect from Zoya.

This is Veronica.  In the bottle this and Margo look very similar but as you can see they are different.  Again two coats of awesome formula and top coat.

This is Claire.  When I put Claire on it looked like it was good in two coats.  You can see in the shade photo that it looks fine.  Obviously in the sun, not so much.  This is the only one that needs a third coat.

Next up is Nyssa.  I used two coats and top coat.

I saved my favorites for last.  This is Genevieve, a gorgeous gray.  Formula was outstanding.  Two coats and top coat.

Last we have Ryan, a beautiful navy blue.  This one is really dark.  I could tell it was blue when I was outside but not as much inside.  Still it has a great formula and was easy to work with.

I hope you enjoyed these polishes.  I know I did!  These are available now on zoya.com.  Give Zoya a like on facebook to keep up to date on new releases and promotions.

Until next time...

Sara
