Barielle Hot Chic Collection

Hello!  Today I have the Barielle Hot Chic collection for fall/winter 2015.  I am loving several of these, even the brown!  This is a five piece collection that has a nice variety of colors.  I'm starting with my very favorite from the collection, Orange U Jealous, a perfect for fall orange with gold shimmer.  It was perfect in two coats.  There's only one photo sadly because it was overcast outside that day.

Sheer Nonsense is a pale sand color.  I didn't have high hopes for the formula on this but I was so very wrong.  This is two coats and top coat.  It was super opaque with an easy to control application.

Harley D is the most gorgeous, glowy brown.  I have two full sun photos for you because the shade photos just don't do this one justice.  The first coat was sheer-ish but the second coat made it perfect.

Secret Desire is my second favorite from this collection.  Such a neat, pretty purple.  This one needed three coats to be opaque but it did have a good application.

Born 2 B Naughty is a lovely blue leaning green cream.  It was almost opaque in one coat.  I used two coats and top coat for the photos.

Barielle Glitter Mania

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  Today I have a five piece collection from Barielle for spring.  Glitter Mania is made up of five glitter toppers.  I'm just going to jump right in.  As per normal each polish has a sun photo and a shade photo.  In most of these I prefer the shade one because it makes the glitter easier to see.

Up first is Barielle Confetti.  This is one coat over Julep Misti with top coat.  You can see where it wanted to bunch up on me a bit on my pinky.  Just use a light touch and it will be fine.

Next is Barielle Gemstones.  This one coat over Barielle Tres Chic with top coat.

This is Barielle Mermaid's Fin over Barielle Sky's the Limit.  Again just one coat and top coat.

Here is Barielle Princess Pink over Barielle Blue Capri.  This is one coat with top coat.  I did have to add some thinner to this polish.  It was super thick.  The thinner worked though and it was easy to apply after that.

Lastly is Barielle Orange Flame over Barielle My City Apartment.  This is one coat and top coat.

Thanks for reading!

Barielle Jetsetter Collection

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have the Jetsetter collection for Fall 2014 from Barielle.  The formula on these polishes was freakin amazing!  I'm seriously in awe of how easy these were to put on.  So lets jump right in shall we?

First up is Midnight in Paris, a midnight blue/purple.  In the bottle this one looks purple.  When I put it on it was decidedly blue.  Either way it's gorgeous.  This is two easy coats and top coat.  I apologize for my top coat shrinking the polish around the curve.  I put this polish on the night before and didn't realize this had happened.

This is Irish Eyes, the perfect army green color.  This has a perfect two coat formula.  I've been wanting an army green forever but hadn't found the perfect one for me but now I have.  Love it!

Next up is Rain in Spain.  This is a great light periwinkle.  I have another polish similar to this but the formula on this is so good that Rain in Spain is taking over the top of that favorite list.  I used two coats and top coat for pictures.

The next polish is Kiss Me Kate.  I've never had a desire for mannequin hands but if I did this would be the perfect polish for it.  I used two easy coats and top coat for this.

This is Autumn in Seoul.  A copperish/brownish shimmer.  This is two coats and top coat.  This was just as easy to work with as creams.

Lastly I have Gondola Ride.  I adore this color.  This polish took three coats plus I have top coat on.  This is a cream polish but it was a bit jellyish.  It has a squishy aspect to it that the other creams didn't have.

Overall this collection is a big win for me with Rain in Spain and Midnight in Paris being my favorites.  These are available for purchase on barielle.com.  Make sure to give them a like on facebook to keep up to date with new collections and sales.

Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

*Press Sample*

Hello!  I have a stamping plate review for you today.  The plate was sent for review from Born Pretty Store.  I used an image off plate W-10.  My squishy stamper fell apart when I first tried this mani so I had to use my double ended Konad stamper.  I think this plate was very good.  The images picked up and were complete.

I used Rica Sugar Plum Wings to stamp on Barielle Moda Bleu.  I ended up wearing this mani for a few days because I liked it way more than I was anticipating.  Born Pretty has tons of inexpensive, neat nail art products.  If you click here it will take you right to the plate I used.  Don't forget code FEMJ61 will save you 10% on your regular priced purchases.

Until next time...

Barielle Me Couture for Fall 2014

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  Today's post is featuring Barielle Me Couture for fall 2014.  This is a great collection of five creams and one mostly hidden shimmer.  Barielle does creams so well.

First up is Berry Posh, a nice deep fuchsia.  This applied perfectly in two coats.  All the polishes today have top coat.

This is Taupe Notch.  The Barielle description calls it a dark taupe.  In person this pulled really gray on me.  Either way I loved it!  This is two perfect coats.

This is Moda Bleu, a deep navy.  I loved that this still looked blue even though it's so dark.  This is two coats.

Up next is Boho Chic, a deep sea green.  I love the touch of blue in this green polish.  Makes is super wearable and pretty.  Just like the others this is two coats of awesomeness.

This is Vintage Gown.  This is the shimmer polish of the group.  I picked the photo with the most shimmer showing but it doesn't show very well in most light.  That said the formula and application was great.  This is two coats.

Last up is Soho at Night, a grape purple.  This is the only one that took three coats.  It was a bit more jellyish than the others.  Just like the Moda Bleu is still look purple in most light even though it's a dark polish.  This is my favorite of the bunch.

Barielle Keys Collection for Summer 2014

*Press Sample*

Hey lovely readers!  Today I have the Keys Collection from Barielle for Summer 2014.  Let's jump right in with my favorite polish.  This amazing orange is Hawaiian Sunset.  This is three coats and the formula is really easy to control.  This polish just glows, so gorgeous!

Next up is Topless in St Tropez, a gorgeous coral.  This polish acts like a cream but has a pretty shimmer.  I added some half moons using Panama Pina Colada, also from this collection.  Topless took two coats and was very easy to work with.

Next up is Barefoot in Bermuda, a lovely hot pink.  This is two coats and topvcoat.  The formula on this one was good as well.  Pretty much the great quality cream application that I've come to expect from Barielle.

This is Paradise in the Tropics, a slightly deeper pink that the previous polish.  The formula on this one was runnier than the normal Barielle cream formula.  I had a bit of clean up to do after applying this one.

Next we have Miami Heat, a red jelly.  This is three coats and top coat.  In the shade it looks looks pretty opaque but in the sun you can see the squishy, jellyness of it.

Last polish of the collection was a surprise favorite for me, as yellow isn't normally my thing.  This is Panama Pina Colada.  Three coats and top coat made it nice and even.

So there you have it!  A collection of very pretty polishes from Barielle for summer.  There are some great summer pedicure colors here for sure.  You can purchase Barielle here and give them a like on facebook to keep up to date with new releases and sales.

Until next time...
