OPI Venice Minis

Hey guys!  I have the OPI Venice collection minis to show you today.  This is a four piece set with a few different finishes.  My nails aren't exactly small so I do find the OPI minis harder to use than most because they are so tiny.  They aren't impossible to use I just have to change my approach a bit.  Usually just needing to get more polish on the brush than normal.

First up is OPI A Great Opera-tunity.  This needed three coats to even out.  It had the feel of a pastel when I was putting it on.

OPI Worth a Pretty Penne was perfect in two coats.  I love finishes like this.

OPI Amore at the Grand Canal is a squishy red cream.  I used three coats for this.

Lastly we have OPI My Gondola or Yours?  I thought this was a black cream but it has a pretty shimmer to it.  This is three coats as well.  I had a few thin spots after two coats.

Of these four, My Gondola or Yours? is my favorite.  There are some other cool shades i this collection though that I want to check out.  I picked up the LE blue ones last time I hit up the nail store.  These are available now everywhere you can find OPI.  You can find more info at opi.com and on their facebook page.

OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades

Hey all!  I have a review of the OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades today.  I really liked most of these.  The white I'm starting off with is my favorite.  Right after I wore it I had to shorten my nails so I apologize for the shorter length on all the rest.  Every one of these is shown with three coats and top coat.  They all had a good formula that wasn't runny just needed all three coats.  It's what you'd expect from pastels or white polishes.

OPI Nail Envy Strength in Color

Hey everyone!  I have the four shades in the new OPI Nail Envy Strength in Color collection to show you today.  These have the strengthening power of Nail Envy with a touch of soft color.  First up is OPI Nail Envy Hawaiian Orchid.  I used three coats and top coat for photos.  It definitely needed the full three coats to be opaque.

Next we have OPI Nail Envy Samoan Sand.  This was also three coats and top coat.  The formula is very similar to Hawaiian Orchid above, thin but manageable with a slight tendency to pool up.

I know this next one is a beloved OPI shade.  This is OPI Nail Envy Bubble Bath.  Just like the other two this is three coats and top coat.  The formula on all three of these is so similar.

This last one is different.  This is OPI Nail Envy Pink to Envy.  I'm not sure what to think of this.  My nails are slightly yellow from all the polish, heck that's why I'm always polished.  It did take the edge off the yellow, so I'm thinking that with a little buffing and then two coats of Pink to Envy I could leave the house and not worry about what they looked like.

I use the original Nail Envy with every manicure so I like the idea of color with Nail Envy already in it.  I'm curious to see if they will do any other, brighter colors.  These can be purchased wherever you buy OPI.  Be sure to give them a like on facebook as well.

OPI Coca Cola Collection

Hey all!  OPI is collaborating with Coca Cola again and these are the two new shades being added to the line up.  First up is Visions of Georgia Green, this was inspired by the classic Coca Cola bottle.  This is three coats and top coat.  It was a little sheer but it built up nicely.

The second polish is Centennial Celebration, a really cool pewter.  This is two coats and top coat.  Looking at pictures I'm seeing some spots that I didn't notice in person that could use another coat.  I love the foil/metallic finish so much.  I think this would be a great polish for the Christmas season.

All in all I'm loving these two shades.  There are six other shades that are re-promotes as far as I understand it.  You can find these in all the normal places that you buy OPI.  Be sure to give them a like on facebook as well.

OPI Brights for 2015

Hello!  Today's post is the OPI Brights Collection for 2015.  This is a 9 piece collection full of fun, happy summer colors.  Brights is made up of six new colors and three re-promotes.  This collection is a mixed bag of creams, glitter, metallics and shimmers.  A little something for everyone.


OPI Down to the Core-al surprised me out of the bottle.  I loved the look of this.  It has a great formula and is shown here in two coats with top coat.  It applied super smooth and stayed where I wanted it to.

OPI Hotter Than You Pink is a gorgeous pink with a blue shimmer.  This was perfect in two coats.  There are two different pictures here in the sun so you can see the blue.  Now here's my issue, I have this polish in my collection and it looks different than this one.  They're both pretty but definitely different.

OPI The Berry Thought of You is a gorgeous berry cream.  Broken record time but this also has a fantastic formula.  Two even coats and top coat are pictured here.

OPI I Stop For Red is a squishy red cream.  I'm slowly warming up to reds.  This one was fun to wear.  I used two coats and top coat but I'm thinking I should have used three for photos.  The sun makes my nail line show a bit.

OPI I Sea You Wear OPI is a gorgeous blue, perfect for summer.  This is two coats plus top coat.  I wore this for several days and it held up great.

OPI My Car has Navy-gation is a purple leaning blue cream.  The formula on this one was a bit problematic.  It was pooling and running all over everywhere.  This is two coats (should have done three) and top coat.

OPI Can't Hear Myself Pink is a fun pink for summer.  This one took three coats to be opaque.  I used top coat for this as well.  There are three photos for this one too so you can see the different ways it looks in the sun.

OPI Life Gave Me Lemons is a yellow cream.  In the bottle this looks more chartruese to me so I was confused about the name.  Until I put it on that was.  It looks yellow on me surprisingly.  It gave me mad lobster hands in the shade.  I used three coats plus top coat for these photos.  I actually wore this one first when the collection arrived.  Then I went to Disneyland and broke a nail so the rest of the collection was shown with shorter nails.  Sorry about that.

OPI On Pinks & Needles is an all pink glitter topper.  All different sizes of just pink.  This is just one coat.  I think this is tons of fun.  I like it so much that I bought a bottle before I knew I was getting this collection for review, so I passed it on to my sister.  Now we both have pretty pink glitter.

I really like this collection as a whole.  It has a little bit of everything and the colors are spot on for summer.  I really want to wear On Pinks & Needles over My Car Has Navy-gation.  I think that would be outstanding.  You can find these at all the normal places that carry OPI.  Like OPI on facebook to be kept current on new releases.
