Gabriel Cosmetics is doing a nail collaboration with a celebrity, Brooke Anderson. Gabriel Cosmetics is headed down South just in time for fall with Brooke Anderson by Gabriel Cosmetics Nail Collection! The collection of SIX “5-Free” Limited Edition shades are a wink and a curtsey to the Entertainment Tonight Host’s Southern Georgia roots infusing beloved Southern expressions from classic films like Gone with the Wind and everyday Southern terminology into a collection fit for a Southern Belle (Don’t we have some of them in LA?)!

This is a new to me brand.  Some of these polishes, especially the glitters, look like they have promise.

Born Pretty Store Water Decal Review

Hello!  Today I have a review of Born Pretty Store water decals.  I like to call them instant nail art.  You guys all know that I'm not very good at nail art so these are perfect for me.  They are so simple to use.  Start by cutting out the piece you want to use and remove the plastic covering.  Then I use tweezers to hold it in a little dish of water for about 10 seconds.  The decal should then slide right off the backing.  Place them on your nail and when it's positioned the way you want soak up any water using a paper towel.

I started with a base color of Essie Find Me An Oasis with a quick dry top coat.  Once it was reasonably dry I added the decal and then top coated it again.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

New York Color (NYC) Review

Hey all!  I have three polishes from the New York Color (NYC) Fashion Queen Collection.  I have to say the more I try this brand the more I fall in love with it.  These are great polishes (wish I had the whole collection) at a fabulous price.  So lets dive right in.

First up is Blue Majesty.  This is hands down my favorite.  The pictures don't even do it justice.  I used three coats and top coat to give this polish a great depth.  All that said this polish stained so very bad.  I don't usually get much staining at all.  Maybe because I use Nail Envy and a base coat, who knows.  I'd wear it again though.  It's that pretty.

Next up is Rule the City.  This is a cool polish.  It has specks of red in the grey glitter base.  It was perfect in two coats and super smooth with top coat.

Finally we have NY Princess, a purple version of the blue above.  Again I used three coats and top coat.  I had no staining with this one.  Sorry about the different nail length.  I had a break in between wearing these.

I don't see NYC around here too often but I'm going to see if I can track down a few more of these.  To find these polishes near you head over to newyorkcolor.com.

Zoya Ultra Pixie Dust for Fall 2014

  Hey lovely readers!  I'm excited to show you the newest Pixie Dust collection from Zoya.  This three piece collection is called Ultra Pixie Dust.  I have to say that of all the textured polishes I've used these have the best formula.  I used three coats on each polish.  Because of the jellyish base I just wanted to make sure any sparse spots were covered up.  It really gave each polish great depth.  Each polish has a sun picture on first then a shade picture.

Up first is Noir.  Surprisingly this is my favorite of the collection.  

Next is Arianna, a pink leaning red.

The third polish is Oswin.  This was the most textured of the bunch.  I think this one would make an amazing Christmas time red mani.
