OPI Nail Envy Strength in Color

Hey everyone!  I have the four shades in the new OPI Nail Envy Strength in Color collection to show you today.  These have the strengthening power of Nail Envy with a touch of soft color.  First up is OPI Nail Envy Hawaiian Orchid.  I used three coats and top coat for photos.  It definitely needed the full three coats to be opaque.

Next we have OPI Nail Envy Samoan Sand.  This was also three coats and top coat.  The formula is very similar to Hawaiian Orchid above, thin but manageable with a slight tendency to pool up.

I know this next one is a beloved OPI shade.  This is OPI Nail Envy Bubble Bath.  Just like the other two this is three coats and top coat.  The formula on all three of these is so similar.

This last one is different.  This is OPI Nail Envy Pink to Envy.  I'm not sure what to think of this.  My nails are slightly yellow from all the polish, heck that's why I'm always polished.  It did take the edge off the yellow, so I'm thinking that with a little buffing and then two coats of Pink to Envy I could leave the house and not worry about what they looked like.

I use the original Nail Envy with every manicure so I like the idea of color with Nail Envy already in it.  I'm curious to see if they will do any other, brighter colors.  These can be purchased wherever you buy OPI.  Be sure to give them a like on facebook as well.

Hello!  I always struggle with showing you guys polishes that aren't readily available for purchase.  But then I think what if someone is looking to buy it in a destash and is searching for photos then it might be helpful.  So today I have Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Summer Vacation.  This is a gorgeous polish!  I love the Siren line and own all but one that I missed out on.  This is definitely one of my favorites by far.  I used two coats and top coat.  It dries to a satiny finish so a glossy top coat was a must.

Hey guys!  I have a new to me brand to show you today.  This pretty polish is from A Rhyming Dictionary.  Alfhol is a great polish that sometimes looked blue and sometimes looked green.  All depended on the light I was in.  It has an amazing two coat formula.  It was thick but not in a bad way.  The polish went where I wanted it too and didn't pool at all.

OPI Coca Cola Collection

Hey all!  OPI is collaborating with Coca Cola again and these are the two new shades being added to the line up.  First up is Visions of Georgia Green, this was inspired by the classic Coca Cola bottle.  This is three coats and top coat.  It was a little sheer but it built up nicely.

The second polish is Centennial Celebration, a really cool pewter.  This is two coats and top coat.  Looking at pictures I'm seeing some spots that I didn't notice in person that could use another coat.  I love the foil/metallic finish so much.  I think this would be a great polish for the Christmas season.

All in all I'm loving these two shades.  There are six other shades that are re-promotes as far as I understand it.  You can find these in all the normal places that you buy OPI.  Be sure to give them a like on facebook as well.

Look I Stamped!!

Hey all!  Recently I was perusing Instagram and saw Bundle Monster had a new huge stamper.  This sucker is gigantic!  I shared a photo on my facebook page the other day.  Now I'm not a huge stamper just because the inner perfectionist in me freaks out at the littlest imperfections.  But I just had to see this stamper in person, so I ordered it.  It came super fast from Hawaii.  Last night I decided to stamp a full mani and see how it worked.  I have to say I'm pretty impressed.  It picked up the images super easy and I was able to cover my whole nail pretty easy.  I started with a base color of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Monster's Tea at Tiffany's, then used a black cream to stamp this image from Mash plate 48.

So it's not perfect but I'm loving it.  I feel like I have the stamping bug again.  Now to build up some courage to try out some of the really neat stamping techniques.

Sally Hansen Insta-Ombre Review

Hey guys!  I have two glitters from the Sally Hansen Insta-Ombre line.  Now I did these swatches before I read the directions.  Bad blogger, I know!  I used these like a glitter topper and they are awesome for that.  The directions say to apply a coat to the whole nail, then another coat on just part of the nail and so on.  Making it an ombre.  Makes so much more sense too me now.  I will have to try that and give you an update.  Meanwhile here they are as just one coat over a base coat.


Sally Hansen Insta-Ombre Grey-diant over Pacific Blue.  This was so much prettier in person.

Hey all!  I have a really cool neutral holo to show you today.  I'm not even really sure what possessed me to buy it since neutrals aren't my thing but I'm so glad to have this staple in my collection.  This is Rica It's Me, Stan from the Golden Girls collection.  This went on with two smooth coats.  I added some accents of Lacquerhead Dots Impossible.  I love that it's neutral but has a subtle holo flash to spice things up a bit.

Rica makes such great quality polishes.  I know that when I order I'm getting a quality product with the fastest shipping I've ever come across in the indie world.  By the way sorry for the nubby nails but I lost a few camping last weekend so I had to chop them all.  It's okay though because I'm a shorty nail kinda girl.

Hello!  I have a couple pretty Rica polishes to show you all today.  So lets start with the gorgeous blue holo shall we?  This is two coats of Go Big or Go Gnome.  Totally flawless application.  Pretty much what you expect from a Rica polish.  This is from the GNOME box that Rica and Stardust put out monthly.  I had missed this one but a lovely lady I know was kind enough to give it to me.  The accent nail is three coats of Big Daddy Always Said from the Golden Girls collection.

I'm a little gnome obsessed.  I have them around my house.  So these GNOME polishes are something I look forward to every month.
