SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts Collection Review (partial)

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  I have four polishes from the SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts Collection to show you today.  Let's jump right in with a very pretty red.  This is two coats Gogo Girl.  This was a bit jellyish so I think I could have used a third coat.  It applied very well and wore like iron.

Next I added a coat of Love Sprinkles, a clear base with pink and white glitters and white hearts.  With one coat I got plenty of the little glitters but I did have to fish out the hearts.

This pretty pink is Daredevil, a neon pink with a slight blue shimmer.  This is three coats and honestly I could have used another to be completely opaque.

Lastly I have Decadent, a clear base with metallic red glitters.  This is one coat layered over Zoya Carey.  Tons of glitter payoff here.  It applied evenly and all the glitter laid flat.  This mani wore really well.  I wore it for several days and I cleaned a huge house with no chips or anything.

You can find this collection at all the normal places you buy SinfulColors, Walgreens, Rite Aid and the like.  I saw it at Walgreens just today before I had to stop looking at polish because my son melted down in a major way.  Be sure to give SinfulColors a like on facebook.

Have a great day!  Thanks for reading.

Finger Paints Paint the Town Purple

Finger Paints Paint the Town Purple
Finger Paints Paint the Town Purple
Hello!  I stopped into Sally's the other day and Finger Paints has a new collection out.  So I snagged two of them.  First up today is Paint the Town Purple.  This was kind of sheer so I layered one coat over Zoya Mira.  I'm so in love with how shiny it is.  The formula was great.  It applied evenly and very smooth.  Other than it being on the sheer side, I love it.

Baseball Nails!

Hey all!  I have some quick, fun baseball nails for you today.  My 11 yr old recently joined a club baseball team.  He had one practice last week then they played a double header.  He jumped right in with both feet and did great.  I'm super proud!  Anyhow, I decided to do baseball nails in the teams colors.  I probably should have used a dark gray as opposed to the black but I couldn't find the one I wanted.  A helmer reorganization may be in order.

Today I used OPI 4 in the Morning, a cool matte black that I top coated, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Cherry Red and Rica Whiteout.  The baseball stitches are from Make it Stick on etsy.  I probably should have put them down a bit lower since they aren't long enough to go all the way down my nails.

I will definitely be using the stitches again.  I wonder how many manis I can come up with in this color scheme.  Pretty sure this is the only red cream polish I own.  Thanks for stopping by and reading today!

Until next time...

I'm Baaaack!

Rica Unicorn Dandruff

Hey guys!  Sorry I've been gone for so long.  It's been a little nuts around here.  Out of town visitors, family issues, you know...LIFE!  Hopefully I'll be back to posting regularly now.  Just a quick post about today's mani.  I started with two coats of Joe Fresh Persian Blue.  The formula was so fantastic.  Then I added one coat of Rica Unicorn Dandruff.  I felt like wearing glitter today but not being super shiny so this was a good compromise.  Unicorn Dandruff was a bit sparse when I put it on.  It was kind of base heavy and I would have preferred a bit more glitter with each coat.  What I love though is I don't have any bubbles in my mani.  I find sometimes that base heavy glitter toppers like to leave bubbles behind but this one did not.

Have a great night!  Thanks for stopping by.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer 2000 Years

Hello!  Today I have a fun layering of two polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers.  You all know this is one of my favorite indie brands.  I started with a base color of Sewing Shadows, a gorgeous light blue.  It was on the thicker side and but I couldn't tell if it was because my fingers were freezing while I was painting them or if the polish actually needed to be thinned.  So I just went with it and I will check it again later when I'm not so dang cold.  Then I added one coat of 2000 Years to finish it of.  The glitter payoff was fantastic.  It was very even in application and smoothed out with top coat.

Super quick post for you guys today but I appreciate you stopping by to take a look.  The Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop is closed right now but you can give her a like on facebook to keep an eye on reopening dates.  There's a new collection coming up very soon and from what I've seen on some other blogs it looks great!

Have a great day!
