Born Pretty Store Loose Glitter

*Press Sample*

Hello! I have a quickie review today of a loose glitter from Born Pretty Store.  These are fun flower shaped glitters.  They're kind of big so I placed one on each nail.  I was going for springy colors so I started with Zoya Hudson then added the glitter.

You can find these glitters here and be sure to check out bornprettystore.com for all kinds of fun nail art items.  Be sure to use code FEMJ61 to save 10% off regular priced purchases.

Until next time...

Zoya Paradise Sun

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  I meant to post the Zoya Paradise Sun collection last week but I got wrapped up in getting my family ready for vacation and forgot to post.  I just got back from several days at Disneyland and California Adventure and I'm so tired.  This is a great summer collection.  Zoya always does one of my favorites each summer.  No surprise to you guys but I am a summer color lover.

Zoya Isa is a gorgeous blue leaning purple.  This is two coats and top coat.  The formula was awesome.

Zoya Mae is a very pretty pink.  It reminds me a bit of Zoya Gilda which I love so naturally I adore this one too.  This is two coats and top coat.  Again the formula was really good.

Zoya Aphrodite is a pretty red in the same finish as Mae.  I used two coats and top coat again but I'm thinking maybe a third coat would have been good.

Zoya Selene is my kind of polish for sure.  A gorgeous teal metallic.  This is two coats and top coat but again I wish I would have used three.  It has an easy to control formula with smooth application.

Zoya Oceane is a stunning blue metallic.  It was perfect in two coats.  This is another winner for me.  Bet your super surprised huh?

Zoya Genesis is a gorgeous white with a bit of sparkle.  This one needed three coats to even out.  I don't feel like my photos do this one justice.  I adore white polishes so this one will get lots of love from me.

There you have it.  A gorgeous summer collection with the great formula and application we've come to expect from Zoya.  Are you more of a cream polish lover (like the Island Sun collection here) or a sparkle, metallic lover like this collection?  I'm always down for a good metallic polish.  You can pick these up at zoya.com now.  Be sure to like Zoya on facebook to stay up to date.

Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

*Stamping plate sent for review*

Hey all!  I have a review of a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store.  This is a cute plate with mostly owls with some other random birds.  I picked four images from the plate to stamp for you.  This is probably the easiest time I've had yet with a plate from Born Pretty Store.  The images lifted right up and stamped easily.

Bornprettystore.com has a ton of neat nail art items.  You can click here to go right to this particular plate.  You can save 10% on regular price purchases by using code FEMJ61.

Born Pretty Store Water Decals

*Decals were sent for review*

Hello!  I have a quick review of some water decals from Born Pretty Store.  These decals have a tropical theme.  I adore the larger flowers because they are opaque and aren't picking up the underneath color.  I added the two little flowers on my ring finger thinking they'd be the same but they weren't so they're harder to see.  These decals are super easy to use.  You know me, I love easy, quick nail art.

Zoya Island Fun

*Press Sample*

Hey guys!  I have the Island Fun half of Zoya's summer offerings.  This is a collection of six creams.  They all have really great formulas.  Just like you'd expect from Zoya.  Up first is my new favorite purple cream, Zoya Serenity.  This is two perfect coats and top coat.

Next is Zoya Talia.  Again two coats and top coat was perfect.  Now I need to say that I had some serious staining from this one.  I don't usually have staining problems.  It could be because I wear Nail Envy and then a base coat with every manicure but I had some serious smurf fingers when I took it off.  That said it's gorgeous!

This pretty red is Zoya Demetria.  Two perfect coats and top coat again.

Zoya Cecelia is another favorite of mine from this collection.  I'm sure most of you are super shocked by that haha.  Two nice even coats and top coat for photos today.  This one also gave me some serious staining.

Next is Zoya Nana.  I know I sound like a broken record but this is two coats and top coat again.  Just a great formula.  Loved it.

Lastly is Zoya Jace.  Isn't this a gorgeous green?  My bottle arrived slightly open with a gummed up neck so this one was a tad thick.  I just added a little thinner and it was great.

All in all this is a great gathering of summer creams.  The formula was excellent on them all.  The only real downside was the staining on two of them.  These are available now on zoya.com.  Be sure to give Zoya a like on facebook to stay up to date on the happenings.

Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

*Stamping Plate was provided for review*

Hey all!  I have a review of Born Pretty Store stamping plate, BP56.  It's a cute plate with flower designs.  I just used a few random sections of the plate to stamp.  My index and pinky were stamped with Rica Pinky Promise.  It worked great!  The middle nails were stamped with a Color Club holo (sorry the label fell off and I don't know which one it was).  This looked great in person but didn't transfer well to the photos.  This plate worked really well.  No issues to report at all.

OPI Softshades

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have the six piece OPI Softshades collection for you.  These are nice soft neutrals that are perfect for when you want painted nails without an in your face color.  So lets jump right in.

First up is OPI Chiffon My Mind.  This is hands down my favorite from the collection.  This is three coats but no top coat because I put a glitter over top (you'll see that in a second).  I love a good white polish and this one does not disappoint.  This one will get lots of wear from me.

Next is one coat of OPI Make Light of the Situation over Chiffon My Mind.  This does have top coat on it.  Photographing these translucent glitters can be so tricky.  They look a bit yellowish and they really aren't.  I wore this mani for several days.  That's how much I liked it.

Next is OPI This Silver's Mine.  I used three coats (probably could have used another) and top coat.  Gotta be honest here guys, frosty polishes are not my favorite.

This is OPI Petal Soft, one coat and top coat over This Silver's Mine.  This is a fun glitter, soft pink and white glitters with larger flower glitters.  I did have to pick those out of the bottle and place them on the nail.

Next up is OPI Put It In Neutral, three coats and top coat.  This one is a tad sheer but it evened out pretty well.  I could see this being a great polish for a job interview.

Born Pretty Store Water Decals

*Decals provided for review*

Hey all!  Tonight I have a review of some super cute, easy to use water decals from Born Pretty Store.  These are like instant nail art which is great for folks like me who are nail art challenged.  All you do is cut out the decal, remove the plastic covering, soak it in water for a few seconds then slide it off the backing onto your nail.  Super easy!  I started with Literary Lacquers Little Sleep Song and a quick dry top coat.  Once it was dry I applied the decals then top coated them again.  Let's take a look!

Dragon Claw Polish Rainbow Sherbet Collection

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I have the summer offering from Dragon Claw Polish for you today.  This is the Rainbow Sherbet collection.  Janet, the maker, describes these as creme neon polishes.  To me they have a bit more of a jelly consistency.  These are some seriously bright polishes.  Now they do have a bit of learning curve to them.  It helped to let them dry a bit between coats.  Now let me tell you what you're going to see in each photo.  The first two nails have a white base layer and two coats of the Dragon Claw polish.  The next two nails are three coats of the Dragon Claw over my regular clear base coat.  You can see the white really makes them pop, especially the green.  That was my favorite! Mr. MLiP loved the green too.

First up is Luscious Lime.  You can see that three coats leaves me with a bit of visible nail line (vnl) but check it out over that white.  So bright and happy!

Next is Wonderous Watermelon.  Such a great girly pink.

This is Blazing Banana.  I like how this one looks over the white and on the bare nail.
