Dragon Claw Polish Game of Chromes (Partial) Review

*Press Sample*

Dragon Claw Polish Through the Moon Door at Midnight

Hello!  Dragon Claw Polish is back with a new collection, Game of Chromes.  It's based on the popular book/tv series, Game of Thrones.  I've not read the books yet but they are in my kindle waiting for me to have a few free hours.  I have three polishes from the 8 piece collection for you today.  First up is Through the Moon Door at Midnight.  According to the maker this represents House Arryn.  It is a white with blue shimmer and blue holo glitter.  Plus it glows in the dark!  I hadn't read that before I wore it and scared myself when I went to bed with it on.  This is three coats and top coat.

I was playing around with this polish and tried it over a black on a nail wheel.  Look at all this amazingness!  This is one coat over black plus top coat.

Next up is Hold the Wall representing Nights Watch.  This is a sheer polish that shifts from purple, blue, green, and yellow.  First let me say this was crazy hard to capture on camera.  It's so pretty in real life though.  I layered it over a few different colors so you could get a good idea of what it would look like.  From left to right is two coats of Hold the Wall over Zoya Mira, Sation Miss Emo Shun All, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk and FingerPaints Black Expressionism.  Over the gray it is closest to the bottle color but I love it over Mira.

Lastly I have Debts Paid, of House Lannister.  This is a clear base with gold and platinum flakies, silver chunky holo glitter, and a ton of gold glitter.  I layered one coat over KBShimmer Men are From Mars-ala.  It's gorgeous you guys!  Tons of gorgeous glitter and amazing application.

So what do you think?  This collection is launching tonight (12/30/14) in the Dragon Claw Polish shop.  The polishes retail for $7.95 and thermals are $8.95.  Also the bottle shape is different from my last review.  Janet has been trying out different types of bottles and is now settled on one.  Be sure to like Dragon Claw on facebook to keep up to date on the latest happenings.  I hope you guys liked today's polishes.  Thanks for stopping by and reading.

Until next time...

KBShimmer Men Are From Mars-ala

*Press Sample*

KBShimmer Men Are From Mars-ala
KBShimmer Men Are From Mars-ala

Hello!  I'm so excited to share today's polish with you.  Pantone has decided that Marsala is the color of 2015.  I have KBShimmer Men Are From Mars-ala, an earthy, red-brown holo shade.  It's a great neutral with a twist.  Perfect for people like me that tend to shy away from neutrals.

I have to say this polish applied like a dream.  It was so smooth and even, creamy would be a great word to describe the formula.  This is two coats and top coat.  At one coat it had pretty good coverage so I'm thinking this would be great for stamping.

So what do you think?  Are you on board with Marsala, the Pantone color of 2015?  This polish may have single handedly changed my opinion from no to yes.  Men Are From Mars-ala launches January 1st on kbshimmer.com.  It retails for $8.75 a bottle.  Will you be picking this one up?

Until next time...

SinfulColors Holiday Review

*SinfulColors polishes sent for review*

Hey all!  I have a review of four shades from the SinfulColors Holiday collection.  There are several more polishes in this collection but I do believe a few of them are repromotes.  I'm going to jump right in with SinfulColors Holiday Rebel, a clear base with red, green and silver glitters.  This is one coat layered over Zoya Ibiza.

SinfulColors Holiday Rebel

Next up is SinfulColors Super Star layered over China Glaze Hanging in the Balance.  I know for sure this is a repromote because I found a bottle in my helmer.  This polish is a sheer blue base with purple and blue glitters.  I tried it on it's own first but at three coats it was still pretty see through.  This is two coats over the China Glaze.

SinfulColors Super Star

Next is SinfulColors Ice Dream, a clear base with little tiny silver glitters and bigger blue glitters layered over Zoya Ibiza.  Sorry about all the Ibiza.  I wore these on different days and didn't realize I had used it more than once.  This is one coat plus top coat.

Lastly is SinfulColors All About You, a clear base with gold glitters.  This is one coat over Zoya Holly.  Love this combo so very much.

*Polishes purchased by me.  Decal sent for review.*

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Void Stuff
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Void Stuff

Hello!  How is everyone today?  I hope you have your bibs ready for today's mani.  You'll need it to catch the drool.  This is seriously amazing.  I used two polishes from one of my all time favorite indies, Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  This is Void Stuff with an accent of Zero Balance Dwarf Star Alloy.  Two coats of each polish was all that was needed.  I added a pink snowflake decal from Lacquer by Lissa to complete the look.  These decals are so easy to use.  I pull them off the backing with tweezers, place them on the nail and then top coat the whole thing.

Hello!  I have a quick review for you today of Sally Hansen Big Glitter Top Coat Goldi-Flecks.  That was a mouthful!  This is a fun silver, gold and white glitter topper with all sorts of shapes and sizes in it.  I layered it over Firecracker Lacquer Macaw March.  This is just one coat of the glitter.

Firecracker Lacquer Review

*Polishes provided for review*

Hey all!  Today I have a new to me indie on the blog.  I have three Firecracker Lacquer polishes to show off for you.  So lets jump right in!

Up first in Firecracker Lacquer Macaw March, my favorite of the three I received.  This is a gorgeous blue with a subtle holo.  I used three coats to completely cover my nail line.

Next up is Type O Negative, a red jelly with blue squares and holo glitters in it.  Now you guys know reds aren't usually my thing but I loved this one!  It went on super smooth and even, which isn't always the case with jellys.  I used three coats and it's perfect.  I wore it for a few days and it held up really well.

Lastly we have Your Mom Thought I Was Big Enough, a multi-chrome with holo glitter.  I tried this one on it's own first and it is very sheer.  The first picture is three coats and as you can see my nail lines are very prominent.  So then I decided to layer it over a few different darker polishes.  In order it's Zoya Natty, Suri, Ibiza and Willow.  Then I added two coats of Your Mom Thought I Was Big Enough.  Love it!  My favorite is probably over Natty or Suri.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Too Plump
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Too Plump

Hello!  A little while back I won a cool giveaway of two Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers that were made to celebrate the two year anniversary of Plump & Polished.  Ashely, the awesome lady behind Plump & Polished, worked with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to create an amazing duo, Too Plump and Too Polished.  Today I have Too Plump, a gorgeous purple, to show you.  The other half of this duo, Too Polished is an amazing teal.  This purple you guys went on like butter, so smooth.  This is two coats plus top coat.  I added Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Belladonna as an accent nail.  According to Mr. MLiP "those flecks look totally 80's."
