Zoya Delight

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  I'm super excited to share the Zoya Delight collection for Spring 2015.  I love spring colors.  I have a weakness for pastels so this collection is perfect for me.  It's made up of three creams and three cool shimmers.  I'm going to start with the shimmers because well, shimmers!!

Zoya Daisy is yellow with a blue flash.  It has a really great formula.  This is three coats and top coat.  I wore this for a few days and it held up really well.  The shade picture is more color accurate to me.

Zoya Leslie is a light purple with a blue flash.  This also has a great formula.  I used two coats and top coat.  I love this one and can't wait to wear it again.

Zoya Rayne is a gorgeous blue with a turquoise flash.  I needed three coats for opacity.  I could not get this polish to dry.  I used my normal top coat and an hour later it was still super squishy.  I ended up having to remove it.  Sad because this is my favorite polish from the collection.  I'm going to try again with a different top coat and maybe base coat combination.

Zoya Tiana is a light green cream.  The formula was a little difficult on this one.  I needed three coats but it is on the thin side of things.

Zoya Eden is a pink cream.  The formula was good on this one.  I used two coats and top coat for the photos.  This is pretty much the perfect spring pink.

Zoya Lillian is light blue cream.  The formula was okay on this one, not stellar but not terrible.  I used three coats and top coat.

So there you have it!  Zoya Delight for spring 2015.  I love all of them even with some formula issues.  The creams are just asking to have some sort of nail art.  Really simple nail art because well, I suck at it.  You can purchase these on zoya.com.  Also give Zoya a like on facebook to be kept up to date on all the latest.

Until next time...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Review

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I have three polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to show you today.  Those of you that have been around a while know that Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) is one of my favorite indies so I'm always thrilled to show them off to you.

First up we have Grandpa, an off white creme with rose and gold microflakies (totally stole that description right from the BEGL site).  This is three coats and top coat.  For a white this was very well behaved.  I'm a sucker for a white polish so I'm loving this one.

Next up is Oy, Stupid Face!, a hot pink with blue/purple and blue/green flakies.  This is such a fun girly pink.  I used three coats and top coat for this one.

My final polish today is Mickey Smith. Defending the Earth, a hunter green linear holo with gunmetal flakies.  I love this one!!  This is two coats and top coat.  This wore like iron for several days.

Zoya Naturel Satins

*Press Release*

Hello!  I'm a little behind with posting some reviews so my focus this week is getting caught up.  I'm starting off with the Zoya Naturel Satins collection.  This is a transitional collection.  It's perfect for heading into spring, although here in the desert I feel like we are skipping over spring and headed right into summer.  The Satins are just that.  Satin finish polishes in nice neutral colors.  I used no base coat and two coats of polish for all the colors.  These were a bit tricky to work with at first but once I figured out what I was doing it was a lot easier.

Alright, there you have it.  What do you think?  Are you a neutral lover or are they not your thing?  I'm not big into neutrals but I love having some good quality ones for the times they are needed.  You can find these on zoya.com and be sure to give Zoya a like on facebook.

Until next time...

Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  I have a Born Pretty Store stamping plate to show you today.  I used three different stamps from plate L006.  I love houndstooth so I was so excited to try this out.  I used the two larger patterns on the middle and ring finger then a plaid looking design with little tiny houndstooth on it.  Along with it being my first time using this plate it was also my first time using my new stamper.  It's super squishy and is going to take some getting used to.  You can see that for the most part I picked up the full images.  Unless you got right up close to my nails (like I'm showing you all) it really wasn't noticeable.

All in all I would recommend this plate.  Especially to someone who is a better stamper than me.  I need to get in some more practice with my new stamper.  You can find the plate here and everything else that Born Pretty Store has to offer here.  Don't forget code FEMJ61 will save you 10% on regular priced purchases.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Crooked Hearts Collection Review (Partial)

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  Super excited to share today's post with you.  I have three gorgeous polishes from the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer upcoming Crooked Hearts collection.  I'm going to start of with my favorite of the three, Cold Inside Me.  I'm going to use Julie's color descriptions because I really stink at describing colors.  Cold Inside Me is a medium teal with blue to teal to purple shifting glass flecks.  Glass fleck is my favorite polish finish and teal is my favorite polish color.  This was pure win for me!  I do believe I have a new favorite polish.  I want to wear this over and over.  The formula is outstanding.  It was easy to control and perfect in two coats.

Next up is Believin' Won't Fly a dark navy blue with icy blue flash.  I used two coats for my photos today but this was pretty perfect in one.  My husbands work is having a fancy party this weekend and I'm wearing a red dress.  I'm thinking of wearing this polish to go with it.

Lastly I have Together Dead and Lonely a black jelly with silver and red holo microglitters.  Let me start by saying my photos don't do this polish justice at all.  The holo glitters sparkle like crazy in the sun.  This is just two coats.  I think that's pretty amazing for a jelly polish.  It was very even and easy to use.

This collection plus a new polish in the LE Siren line launch February 9th at 3:30pm est.  The polishes will be available in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop.  The full set is $58 for full size bottles and $32 for the mini bottles.  BEGL has great minis just so ya know.  They will also be available individually as well.  Be sure to give BEGL a like on facebook and instagram to keep up to date on the latest news and collections.

There is a green in this collection that I will be jumping on the launch to get my hands on.  What will you be getting?  I highly recommend Cold Inside Me.  Everyone needs it!

Until next time...

Hey all!  Happy Monday to you.  Quickie post for you today.  When I decided to wear Hit Polish Nail Lacquer Unicorn Tears I couldn't decide if I wanted it over black or purple.  So I picked both.  I used my go to black cream, Finger Paints Black Expressionism and the purple is Sation Super Natural Powers.  I used one coat of Unicorn Tears on all nails and topped them with a quick dry top coat.  Easy peasy!

By the way, I thought this would be a pain to remove and it wasn't.  I just came right off.  Thanks for stopping by today and reading!
