Cupcake Polish Holiday 2014

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have the holiday collection from Cupcake Polish.  This is my first experience with the brand and I just need to take a moment to simply rave about the quality of these polishes.  Seriously you guys, they are amazing!  I know normally I give you one sun picture and one shade picture.  Today I have a few more of some polishes.  The holo is strong in these and they needed multiples to show it off.  With that let's dive right in!

This is Cupcake Polish Just Sleighing Around.  The most gorgeous pink leaning red holo.  This is almost perfect in one coat.  I did two so I could wrap my tips and wear it for a few days.  I'm also thinking this will be amazing for stamping.

This is Cupcake Polish Yule Be Missing Me.  This is two coats of purply goodness.  Again the holo is super strong on this one.

Every now and then a polish comes along that is just the perfect polish for you.  Hands down my favorite polish from the collection and my favorite polish that I've worn in a long while.  It's like it was made with me in mind.  This is Cupcake Polish Look Who's Stocking Now.  Two coats and it was perfectly opaque.

Next up is a surprise favorite for me.  This is Cupcake Polish Ornamentary My Dear.  My pictures today are three coats.  In real life it looked opaque.  In the sun pictures you can see some of the white of my nail.  I tried layering it over a few others in this collection on a nail wheel and it looks fabulous over Just Sleighing Around.  I have the beginning ideas of some nail art I'd like to do with that combo.

Last polish I have for you today is Cupcake Polish Deck the Malls.  This just screams Christmas tree to me.  I used three coats on this one to make sure it was good and opaque.  Deck the Malls does dry a with a bit of a texture to it but one good coat of top coat and it was smooth.

Hey all!  Quickie post for you today.  This is Color Club Concrete Jungle layered over Zoya Tao.  Concrete Jungle is a top coat and is just perfect over the gray polish.  This is just one coat.  The coverage was very even and smooth.  I used a couple of nail vinyls to make the pattern.

Mentality Gala

*Purchased by me*

Mentality Gala
Mentality Gala

Hello!  Today I have the coolest polish to show you.  This is Mentality Gala.  It was super hard to photograph and catch the pink flash.  Stinks because it's so apparent in real life.   I used three coats of Gala to make it opaque.  I still had a bit of visible nail line at two.  This is supposed to be a matte polish but I had to make it shiny and top coat it.  So much love for this!  I want to wear it forever.

I think this will be my next pedi color.  It's just that pretty!  I hope you all have a great day.

Zoya Wishes Collection Review

*Press Sample*

Hi everyone!  Today I have my review of the Zoya Wishes Collection.  This is a six piece collection, three Pixie Dusts and three traditional polishes.  I love that these aren't traditional holiday collection colors.  Not a red or green to be found!

I'm going to start with the Pixie Dusts.  Once I had these on I found them to be not as textured as Pixies of past days.  They had a very jellyish feel to them.  First up is Thea, a deep purple full of holo hexes.  This was perfect in two coats.

Next up is Zoya Nori, a gorgeous blue full of holo hexes.  I did use three coats on this one.

The final Pixie is Imogen, a black polish with holo hexes.  I used three coats on this one as well.  This looks like the perfect New Year's Eve polish to me.

Now on to the traditional polish side of this collection.  Up first is Zoya Willa.  This is a basic black cream with a great two coat formula.  Not super exciting but Zoya didn't have a black cream so it fills a hole in my Zoya collection nicely.

Next up is Zoya Prim.  The color is gorgeous but the formula is a bit of a pain.  It goes on nice and opaque but leaves some good brush strokes.  If you have Zoya Areetha the formula reminds me of that.  I used two coats and top coat.

Lastly I have Zoya Haven.  Now usually reddish purples aren't my thing but once I had it on it was pure love.  I adore the way this looks on me.  I used two coats and top coat for today's photos.

LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular

*Purchased by me*

LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular
LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular

Hello everyone!  Today I have the prettiest polish to show you.  This is LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular, a gorgeous light purple holo.  It's a very subtle shade with a big holo bang.  I used three coats plus top coat for this one.  It did start out pretty sheer so I was concerned that it might not build up but it did in the end.  I'd actually really like to try layering one coat over a light purple, maybe like Barielle Rain in Spain.  I bet that would be gorgeous!

Have a great evening!

Barielle Jetsetter Collection

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have the Jetsetter collection for Fall 2014 from Barielle.  The formula on these polishes was freakin amazing!  I'm seriously in awe of how easy these were to put on.  So lets jump right in shall we?

First up is Midnight in Paris, a midnight blue/purple.  In the bottle this one looks purple.  When I put it on it was decidedly blue.  Either way it's gorgeous.  This is two easy coats and top coat.  I apologize for my top coat shrinking the polish around the curve.  I put this polish on the night before and didn't realize this had happened.

This is Irish Eyes, the perfect army green color.  This has a perfect two coat formula.  I've been wanting an army green forever but hadn't found the perfect one for me but now I have.  Love it!

Next up is Rain in Spain.  This is a great light periwinkle.  I have another polish similar to this but the formula on this is so good that Rain in Spain is taking over the top of that favorite list.  I used two coats and top coat for pictures.

The next polish is Kiss Me Kate.  I've never had a desire for mannequin hands but if I did this would be the perfect polish for it.  I used two easy coats and top coat for this.

This is Autumn in Seoul.  A copperish/brownish shimmer.  This is two coats and top coat.  This was just as easy to work with as creams.

Lastly I have Gondola Ride.  I adore this color.  This polish took three coats plus I have top coat on.  This is a cream polish but it was a bit jellyish.  It has a squishy aspect to it that the other creams didn't have.

Overall this collection is a big win for me with Rain in Spain and Midnight in Paris being my favorites.  These are available for purchase on barielle.com.  Make sure to give them a like on facebook to keep up to date with new collections and sales.
