Today I have the awesome Color Club Holiday Splendor from the Beyond the Mistletoe collection. I decided to go ahead and layer it over black. I love the way this looks. My oldest son was also impressed. He made me promise to wear it again soon when I had to take it off after an unfortunate chipping incident at work. Holiday Splendor has some holo glitter in it that my poor camera was trying so hard to capture. Didn't work so well. Take my word for it, this polish is gorgeous.
Again due to sucko weather these photos were taken inside, next to the window.
Hope you're all having a wonderful day!

I have a lot of blue nail polish. I love blues! This blue just shot up the list of my favorite blues. It's amazing! This is China Glaze Frostbite. This is two coats although I think I might do three next time I wear it, with a topcoat. I have this on as I'm typing and I just can't stop checking out my nails. After putting it on, I decided to matte it. Oh my word it's freaking amazing! Kinda looks like metal on my nails but not shiny.
I think all but one or two of these pictures was taken outside in overcast conditions. The others were taken inside next to the window.
Can you see the weird white speck on my ring finger in the last photo? That is from my Essie Matte About You. It happened on a few fingers but I don't know why. Any ideas what's causing it?

Thanks to my Secret Santa I am showing you OPI Jade is the New Black today. Such a pretty color. It is a jade cream that went on flawlessly with two coats. I don't own a ton of OPI but this one is so amazing I want to go buy more. I wore this one for six days I think. I was so sick I didn't even want to change my nail color. It wore very well. No chips and little tip wear. Granted I wasn't doing much other than holding down my couch.
Again these pictures were taken inside next to the window. No sun again. Sorry about the dry skin. It's winter, even in Phoenix it gets cold enough to cause it. I can only put on so much lotion.
Take a look and tell me what you think.
What's your favorite cream polish? Just curious.
Have a great day!

Today I have Winter Sky by Finger Paints. It is part of their holiday collection. I only picked up this and the green (can't remember the name). I love this color. Not sure I can express to you all how much I love this. It has a subtle shimmer to it that I just love. This is two coats and the accent finger is one coat of China Glaze Atlantis. I have been wanting Atlantis for so long and my nail polish Secret Santa was so good to me. She took care of a couple lemmings I had. My secret santa was LaKeisha from Refined and Polished. If you haven't checked out her blog go do it now!
Sorry these pictures aren't the best. I've been so sick and we've had a stretch of icky weather. So no sun for me. These were taken inside, next to the window. My next couple of posts will be like this. Luckily the sun seems to be coming back.
See that amazing sparkle from Atlantis? I can't wait to wear this as a full mani.
I'm going to try and schedule a few post so I don't disappear on you again. I'm still really sick so no guarantees.

Sorry I haven't been around but I have been so sick with some sort of mystery illness. Plus I have the cold that everyone has been passing around here. It's kicking my butt. I haven't even been doing my nails. Hopefully I'll be back soon and able to schedule some posts.
Have a great day!

I wasn't even going to get this polish but then I found it on clearance at Sally's. My 8 yr old talked me into it and I am so glad he did. It is gorgeous! Midtown Magic is a jellyish brown full of amazing shimmer. I don't think my pictures do it justice. Check it out!
So glad I picked this up. What's you all time favorite China Glaze color? Right now mine is Custom Kicks. Just can't get enough of that color.
See ya next time!

Today I have Color Club Nouveau Vintage. This color is beautiful. I bought the Back to Boho set just for this color. There are other great colors in the set but this is my favorite. In the bottle this color has a bit of green to it but that doesn't come across on the nail. This is two coats of bronze/copper perfection.
This color is just stunning! What was your favorite Back to Boho color?

Check out the pictures! There are a ton. Sorry about the less than stellar clean up. It's been weirdly cloudy here and I was trying to hurry to catch at least a little sun. All the pictures are outside with cloudy sun (I know, that doesn't really make sense, just go with it).
Here is a picture of Peacock by itself. So amazing! Can't wait to wear this as a pedi color!
What do you think of my first Canadian polish? Are there any other Joe's I must own?
Have a great day!

This is two coats of WNW How I Met Your Magenta (would do three if wearing on its own) with a tape design and WNW Black Creme over it. Black Creme is amazing! Great for stamping and covers in one coat. I used my striping tape to make the lines. Love that stuff!
HIMYM is a squishy, bright pink with some shimmer. Not sure if I plan on keeping this one or not. Don't really know how I would get rid of it but whatever. Just seems so wrong to dispose of any nail polish. If you want it, let me know. I'll send it to you.
So what do you think of my nail fail? I figure everyone has them so why not show them off.
Have a great day!

I have finally decided to try out my Nubar 2010 today. I've had it for a while but I get easily overwhelmed by layering. So many choices. Freaks me out! Anyway...I started with one coat of Finger Paints Amethyst Atelier, a super dark purple. So pretty! It's really dark but still looks purple in all lights. If I had been wearing this by itself I would have done a second coat but since I was layering I just did the one. Sorry about the lack of clean up. I was waiting until I was completely done to do that.
Next I did two coats of Nubar 2010. Not much to say about this but WOW! Now I want to put this on everything. Even my husband thought it was cool. The lady who was cutting my son's hair just about pulled my hand off looking at it. Have I mentioned it freaks me out when people I don't know touch me? Here are the pictures. These were all taken in the shade. The sun pictures just didn't work out well.
So now I want to know, what's your favorite layering combo for Nubar 2010? I need suggestions seeing as I am one of the least creative people ever.

Today I have the amazing Color Club Cold Metal. This is from the Foiled Collection. I love that whole collection so much. The formula is super great and they work for stamping. This is two coats of Cold Metal. It's almost a one coater but I had a bald spot on two nails so two coats it is. I did an accent finger with Color Club Jingle Jangle from the Beyond the Mistletoe collection. All the photos were taken inside with indirect light from the window. I forgot to go take them in the backyard while it still had sun and I didn't want to chance having to discuss what I was doing with the creepy neighbor if I went out front.
So in love with this mani. What's your favorite from the Foiled collection?
Have a great day!
PS* Jingle Jangle was a huge pain to get off.

So I don't watch the Kardashians or really know much about them but I do know a great nail polish color when I see it. NOPI It's All About the Glam is a shimmery white. I love white nails, especially when they have some shimmer to them. This is four coats and I still have a little VNL that is much more apparent in the pictures than in real life. I think next time I will put a coat or two of plain white polish down first then this one. You can really see the shimmer in the shade pictures. In the sun it just kinda looks like plain white. In the shade you can also see how badly I suck at clean up of shimmery or glittery colors. Honestly I usually just clean off the glitter in the shower.
Thanks for reading,
PS* Just wanted to say that I appreciate all the comments left on my blog. For some reason blogger won't let me comment in Firefox or IE. So the only time I can comment on my blog or someone else's is from my phone. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go blind trying to see things on my phone :)

I love colors like this. Brownish/coppery type, glittery colors. However I feel like they should come with a disclaimer before you look at the pictures. *I am a ginger. I love my red hair and pale skin but colors like this sometimes look a little weird on my nails.* Okay now that I've warned you, here are the pictures. This is three coats of OPI Warm and Fozzie.

So what do you think? Did you pick up Correction Tape?
Talk with you soon,
