Hello my lovlies! How is everyone doing? Today I have a Jamberry Nail Shield that I received for review to show you. I had heard of Jamberry before but this is my very first experience with them. Shea, the Jamberry consultant, mailed my samples out very fast. I received two sample cards that had a few different sizes and patterns to choose from. I knew right away that the chevron would be the first one I'd use. There is a definite learning curve with these but it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be when I first read the directions. When I first read that I had to get out the hair dryer, I was like no way am I going to be able to do this. Let me assure you it is so much easier than I thought.
You start by picking the size that best fits your nail. Remove it from the backing then use your hair dryer to warm it up a bit. Place it on your nail the cut off the excess as close as you can to the end of your nail. Make sure to save the other end of the strip to do another nail. Then I used my nail buffer in a downward motion to remove the excess. Now the chevron was my first attempt and you can see that I had a wrinkle and I didn't manage to get the edge to stick down properly. By the end of the day it was peeling up on me. So I contacted Shea and asked for her help. She suggested that I buff my nail a bit first, then use acetone remover to prep the nail. She was also very reassuring that it was okay I didn't get it the first time. I just needed to try again. Using her tips I achieved great results using the polka dot pattern.

You can definitely see the difference between attempt one and attempt two. I must say that I am now convinced. This is a super fun way to do an accent nail or a fun mani. I'm going to give you guys all the links here in a second but I just have to reiterate that I recieved these for review. The polishes are mine. I used OPI Can't Find My Czechbook with the chevron pattern and China Glaze First Mate with the polka dots.
There are so many patterns to choose from that there truly is something for everyone. Click
here (each consultant has their own page to order from) to take a look at all the choices. If you have any questions about Jamberry head on over to
facebook to chat with Shea. She's super nice and very helpful. Trust me I know, I bugged her like crazy for help. She's currently at 43 likes on her page,
facebook.com/jamwithshea. I think we can do better than that. Let's get her up past 50. Stop by, say hi and tell her My Life in Polish sent you.
Super long post from me today. I hope you all made it all the way through. What do you think of Jamberry? I'm sold! I love a fun accent nail. Mr. MLiP is looking over my shoulder as I write this and just gave it his seal of approval. Now I really need to get more :)

*Just incase you missed it, I got the Jamberry Nail Shields for review, not the polishes. The FTC wants to make sure I beat you over the head with this info. All opinions are mine.*
