OPI Mani Ways to Help
I wasn't sure if I was even going to post this but I need a recomendation so here I am. This is 2 coats of OPI Mani Ways to Help over 2 coats of Essie Marshmallow. I picked this up because it reminded me of one of my all time favorites, Zoya Ginessa. The problem is Ginessa is opaque in 2 coats and MWTH is very sheer. So I figured I would layer it. So I grabbed Marshmallow, which I had never used and is it's own weird mess, and layered MWTH over it. I'm thinking that maybe the Essie just wasn't a bright enough white. I hated this mani so much and that makes me sad. I want to retry MWTH over a really stark white. So this is where I need your help. What's your favorite white polish that doesn't take a billion coats to be opaque and not streaky? Help me please!
See what I mean? It's like it was to dull or something. Sorry about the glitter around my nails that was left over from my previous mani :)
So what do you thing?

Misa Wishing on a Star
Today I have my one and only Misa polish. Wishing on a Star is black with loads of glitter. In the pictures it just looks like silver glitter but there are other colors in there too. There was a lack of sun so the other colors wouldn't come out to play. I absolutely love this polish. It went on in two super easy coats and was really easy to control. My husband walked by while I was putting it on and said "wow that's a really cool color". Usually the only way he notices my nails is if I stuff them in his face and make him look :)
Please excuse the dry skin around my nails, don't know what was happening there.
This is easily one of my favorite polishes now. Misa is kind of hard to come by around here. The only place I can find any is at my favorite little hole in the wall nail supply shop, but after seeing the swatches for their new Surreal Escape collection, I may have to pick up a few more.
Do you own any Misa? What are your favorites?

Orly Fowl Play
For your viewing pleasure today I have Orly Fowl Play. This color is outstanding! A deep wine color with flakies. I love it! I got a ton of compliments on this one. I think I'll just get right to the pictures on this one. Please excuse the tip wear. The day I put this on we had no sun so I waited to take pictures of it.
All this photos were taken in full sun (we don't really get anything other than full sun around here. Except for the day I put on Fowl Play).
What is your favorite polish from Orly's Birds of a Feather collection?

Something Special for Today
Hi Everyone,
Sorry about the radio silence for the last week or so. My son had early out from school all week and that really put a kink in my blogging plans. To make up for it I have something pretty cool today. A while back I won a giveaway from My Blue Lacquer. There were a couple frankens included in that. This is the first one I've tried so far. It is amazing! One of the easiest polishes to apply and control that I've ever used. The only downside is I won't get to wear it a ton because the bottle is little. I think I'll have to use it sparingly. The polish is a steel blue with some yummy, sparkly glitter in it. In most of the photos it's hard to see but I promise it's there.

Orly Stone Cold
Today I have the most amazing blue from Orly. Stone Cold is one of those polishes you put on then walk into walls because you can't stop staring at it. I love blue nail polish a lot. I have tons of blues but this one is incredible. It has a darker kind of blackened look to it but is super shiny. I don't think I'm describing this very well so on to the pictures.
So these picture look a little weird to me. I usually take photos in the morning and these were taken in the afternoon. The Phoenix sun is a little harsh in the afternoon, even in September. I just had to share Stone Cold with you and knew I wouldn't get another opportunity to take pictures.
I love all the blues we've gotten this season so far. Can't decide if Stone Cold or Sweet Peacock is my favorite. Maybe I'll just love them both equally! What's your all time favorite blue polish?

Zoya Marina
Oh the loveliness that is Zoya Marina. It's funny, looking at this in the bottle I thought this was an ok color but nothing overly special. Boy was I wrong! This is not just another grayish blue, this is pure awesome. The formula was amazing, as per usual with Zoya. Quick side note, I think I need a thesaurus. I say amazing a lot! Anyway, back to Marina. This was two effortless coats and I had hardly any clean up. Always a plus when I can easily control the polish. I see myself wearing this a lot all year round. Now on to the photos!
Just had to include this one to show the amazing shimmer.
Hands down, Zoya is my favorite brand. Charla is my absolute favorite Zoya polish. What's your favorite Zoya?

Nail Mail!
I recently won a giveaway from Beanie at My Blue Lacquer. If you haven't checked out her blog yet do it now! Click it! I was so excited to get it. Lots of cool polishes plus some amazing frankens. These will be the first frankens I've ever used. I'll have swatches up soon, except for the frankens. I'll show those as I wear them cuz I don't want to waste any. I'm most excited to try the blue glittery one called blue sangwich. You can check out her pics here.
Not sure who was more excited me or B!
See you soon!

POP Beauty Foggy and some stamping
My internet is back in working order. Yay! Today I have an amazing sparkly gray. I have been obsessed with gray lately, especially grays that have a little something extra. Think Zoya Harley. This polish is great. Two super easy coats to be opaque. There was hardly any clean up when I was done. That's how easy this was.
outside shade
Right before I put on this color I came across this mani at A Painted World. Click it! I couldn't stop thinking about it so I had to copy it. Love this stamp. My nails look all nice and cozy like a sweater. A sweater for your nails...that's just a little weird but whatever :) I did mine with gray instead of white because I hate all the whites I have. I'm thinking of getting Zoya Purity. Any thoughts?

Orly Flirty
Today I have Orly Flirty from the Happy Go Lucky Collection. Honestly this was one of my favorite collections this summer. I absolutely loved every color. Flirty went on super easy with two coats. It was a tad bit thick but not in an unmanageable way. Then because I just couldn't help myself I put a layer of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Twinkle, Twinkle. TT is a fun glitter but those larger pieces did not want to come out of the bottle. I had to pick them out with my orange stick and put them on the nail. Oh well, I loved the end result. For some reason I don't have pics of Flirty by itself. Sorry!
So what do you think? What was your favorite from this collection?
See you soon,
