Essie Bobbing for Baubles & Finger Paints Fall of Surprises

Sun
Hi lovelies!  How is everyone today?  Do you ever do an accent nail then later wish you'd done the whole mani that way?  That's the case with today's nails.  This is two coats of Essie Bobbing for Baubles with an accent nail using Finger Paints Fall of Surprises.  Bobbing for Baubles is a super dark navy.  Honestly it looked black a good majority of the time.  It had a great formula and was almost full coverage in one coat.  Fall of Surprises is a copper glitter.  This is one coat of FoS.  I really,  really wish I would have done the glitter on all my nails.  I really enjoyed this combo.

Shade
Do you have any other suggestions on what I could put under Fall of Surprises?  I really want to wear it again very soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. It looks great with that Essie! I may have to steal that idea. It looks good over red, orange and shades of brown and bronze. Oh, and oddly enough, pink.

  2. I would suggest a deep garnet color. I looove copper!! Do you have Sally Hansen's CSM in Haute Chocolate? I would LOVE to see it over that!!

    1. I don't have that. I'll have to google it and check it out. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    2. I've been reading for a few months now :)
I bought Let Them Eat Cake after seeing your Bevin and an indie post. It's my first indie. :)

I grabbed 2 of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes, because they have that whole line on clearance at Walgreens. They're only $1.89 right now! Haute Chocolate was one of the colors I got and it's perfect for fall - I'm pale so I'm always scared of darker colors but this one is fantastic!

    3. I definitely understand about the pale thing. I'll have to check out Walgreens. I really hope you enjoy your first indie. Let Them Eat Cake is a cool polish. I want to try it over a darker color, I'm just not sure what.

    4. I liked the color you had it on, and I'm sure a lavender would look great with it too. But I bet using that even as an accent nail with this shade Bobbing for Baubles it might look neat.

  4. I'm a big fan of the accent always, even when I absolutely love the look, because I tend to like a more subtle look (for the most part, lol). I think these look perfect together and I can't think of a suggestion better than what's already been said (or shown... I just love that navy!). Maybe a hunter green metallic? Maybe...

    1. Thank you! I think that's why I love the accent nails too. Not quite so in your face as a whole mani.
