Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier

Shade

Hey all!  Today's polish is one that I thought for sure I was going to love.  Once I put it on though I had mixed feelings about it.  This is Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier.  What you see here is three coats and topcoat.  It kinda stinks that I still had VNL after three coats.  The VNL was pretty visible in the sun and not too bad inside.  The formula was good and easy to control.  It dried with kinda a satiny finish so it needed a good topcoat to be shiny.

This shows the VNL a bit better
I think I would love this polish if I didn't have the VNL.  Maybe next time I need to layer it over a nude polish or maybe a ridge filler base coat?  Not sure.  It definitely deserves a second chance.  It's funny to me that I thought I'd love this one and only kinda like Pacific Coral (here) but it's totally the other way around.  Does that ever happen to you guys?  Have a great night!

Until next time...

Sara

*I bought this polish myself.  I just can't stay away from Ninja Polish.  I should just have my paycheck direct deposited to them.*

  1. Its a pretty color but agree that having a VSL after three coats is a bummmer. Its probably better as a layering polish over a base as you said.

    1. VNL is visible nail line. Sorry I forgot to write that.

    2. I dont see lines in you polish via the pics u provide, the color may not suit your skin tone, especially if you are of a lighter hair and fair complexion, I am guessing that this would be more your issue

  3. I hate it when a formula isn't what you expect it to be D;

    1. That's probably true. This is the longest my nails have been in a while so that does mean more white to cover. Thanks!

  8. It seems like a lot of the strong shifters have vnl even after three coats but I feel like they're worth it. Bummer that you're not totally loving this one. Your photos are stunning.

    1. Thank you! I'm wondering what it would look like layered over something like Zoya Sklar.
