Colors by Llarowe Zipper
Hello! Tonight for your viewing pleasure I have Colors by Llarowe Zipper, a soft blue holo. I honestly expected this to be sheer and need to be layered. Imagine my surprise when it was totally opaque in two coats and the formula was so great. Super smooth and easy to apply. I'm not usually a holo lover but I feel myself being sucked over to the dark side by soft, pastel, light color holos. I stamped on a flower design using Mash plate 42 and Color Club Eternal Beauty. Stamping with holos is fun for sure.
Both pictures are in the sun because really what fun is a holo in the shade? I will definitely be looking into more of these polishes. I hope you all have a great night!

*I purchased this polish myself. I hid from my kids in the bathroom (they were driving me nuts) and used my phone to purchase it.*

Barielle Nude and Naughty Collection plus a Giveaway
Press Sample
Hey everyone! I promised you this post last week but I've been so sick and it just didn't get done. My apologies for the delay. So jumping right in I have the Barielle Nude and Naughty collection for you and a Barielle giveaway at the end. Each polish has a sun picture and then a shade picture and is shown with topcoat. First up is Pillow Talk, a pale peach that took three coats for opacity with no streaks.
Up next is Very Bare, a pale pink that also took three coats. I actually kind of liked this one. Not my normal but I really liked how it looked on me.
This is No Not Now. Barielle says this is a sheer toffee color. It has a lovely shimmer that I liked a lot. This one took two coats to be opaque.
Next we have I Got a Headache, a shimmery caramel color. I used two coats for this and now I'm thinking it should have been three. The shimmer in this is really pretty even if the color looks a little strange on me.
Last we have In Good Taste, a chocolate brown, that was also in the other fall collection. This is two coats.
So there you have it. There are some great neutrals in this collection. The quality was great. Just what I've come to expect from Barielle. You can purchase Barielle on their website here and follow them on facebook here.
I promised you guys a giveaway a while back, so today I have an assortment of Barielle polishes and treatments that were given to me by Barielle to give to one lucky reader. Sorry guys but this is US only. Up for grabs is 5 polishes (Fashionista, Teaser, Sunshine, In Good Taste and Pink Flip Flops), Nail Strengthener Cream, No Chip Speed Dry topcoat and Nail Rebuilding Protein base coat. The giveaway will end on 10/14/13. Good luck!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great rest of your day and I'll talk with you soon.

China Glaze Tongue & Chic
Sun |
Good afternoon lovelies! I'm not usually big on fall color but I knew that China Glaze Tongue & Chic was going to come home with me. It's a gorgeous darkened teal that was perfect and opaque in one coat. Yes you read that right, one coat. So to make this even better I used Rendezvous With You as an accent nail and it was also perfect and opaque in one single coat. All my pictures are one coat of both polishes and topcoat. It really bares repeating, one coat! These are seriously perfect. Makes me happy that I spent Mr. MLiP's money on them haha. I also bet these would be great for stamping.

*I purchased this polish (and if we're being honest, 4 others and a mystery box) with my very own money. I had to clean at least two houses to make the money for this purchase. Totally worth it!*
Bonus pic! I can't find any of my Sedona pics so I took this one off the internet. So pretty!

Barielle Sophisticated Lady Collection
Press Sample
Hey all! Today I have one of the new Barielle fall collections for you. These five colors make up the Sophisticated Lady collection. These are simple basics but the formula on all of them (yes all of them) is superb. Barielle really knows how to make a great cream. There are four creams and one shimmer polish in this collection. Ready to dive in?
Up first is London High Tea. This is a bright pink with a golden shimmer. I added some dots using Tres Chic (also from this collection) and then used London High Tea to put pink dots on top of the blue ones. This is two coats with topcoat.
Next we have Edgy, a deep purple cream. This polish could be worn in one coat but I have two here because I needed to wrap my tips so I could wear it for a few days. The photos have topcoat as well.
This lovely navy blue cream is Tres Chic. Again this could be a one coater but because I wrap my tips in between coat one and two my photos are two coats with topcoat. This polish is so glossy and shiny that everything behind me is reflected in these photos.
The fourth polish is Dinner at 8, a squishy red cream. This is the only polish that I did three coats on. It's definitely a cream but has a bit of jelly squish. I'm not much of a red wearer but I'm sure you'll see this again around the xmas holidays.
Last color in this collection is In Good Taste, a chocolate brown cream. This is two coats with topcoat. This is another that was so shiny that my camera is struggling with it.
The quality of these polishes is amazing. The couple I wore for a few days wore really well and the application couldn't have been easier. Barielle polishes are 5 free. To head over to Barielle's site click here. Give them a like on facebook to stay on top of sales and other info. I'll have the other collection late next week. That collection also includes In Good Taste so the lovely ladies at Barielle said I could have a giveaway for you. I'll have a Barielle giveaway that includes In Good Taste as well as some as some other goodies, up late next week as well.
What is your favorite from this collection? I'm really digging the dark purple. I hope you are all having a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

LA Girl Electric Coral
Good morning! Today I have LA Girl Electric Coral for you. When I went to San Diego in May I dragged my poor family into a bunch of Rite Aids since we don't have them here and this is one of the many polishes I bought. Electric Coral is a orange jelly with glitter and some holo sparkle. I was surprised by how easy to use this formula is. Jellys and I don't always get along so I was expecting some trouble. This is three coats for opacity with topcoat on top. Bonus is this polish was so easy to remove. No scrubbing at the glitter or foil or anything.
If you look at the blurry nails in this photo you can see some of the holo sparkle. Overall this polish was a major win for me. Can't wait to try the other colors I have. I hope you all have an awesome day!
