Hey all! I recently got a few of the Sally Hansen Color Frenzy polishes to review. I'll get them up soon but I wanted to make sure to show you Color Frenzy Red, White and Hue before the 4th of July. This polish is perfect for a patriotic mani. It's made up of red, white and blue glitters in multiple sizes. I started with a base of Zoya Trixie and then layered on coat of Red, White and Hue on top and then dabbed on a second coat. The base is a little thick so the second coat required dabbing to fill in the sparse spots.
This is just so shiny and fun! Perfect for the 4th or for the US World Cup game on Tuesday. Have a great day!
Until next time...

Pacifica Turquoise Tiara
*Press Sample*
Hey guys! I have something new from Pacifica to show you today. They have launched a 7 free polish line. Yep you read that right, 7 free! 7 FREE is formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals. Today I have Pacifica 7 Free Polish in Turquoise Tiara. I was super excited that I received a turquoise polish since as you all know it's my weakness. My photos today show two coats and top coat. Turquoise Tiara was streaky on the first coat then evened out nicely with the second coat. It dried crazy fast for me, like it was a quick dry polish. I don't know if that's typical of this line as I just have the one. They have a ton of great colors though so I may pick up a few more.
I wore this polish for two days and had no chipping or tip wear even. Pacifica 7 Free retails for $9 per bottle. It's 100% vegan and cruelty free. You can purchase the polishes here on Pacificaperfume.com. You can find Pacifica on facebook here. The color that has me most intrigued is Unicorn Horn. I'd love to see swatches of that one. I love that a company is actively working to give us a quality 7 free polish in a wide variety of colors. I'd love to know what you think. Drop me a comment below.
Until next time...

Barielle Keys Collection for Summer 2014
*Press Sample*
Hey lovely readers! Today I have the Keys Collection from Barielle for Summer 2014. Let's jump right in with my favorite polish. This amazing orange is Hawaiian Sunset. This is three coats and the formula is really easy to control. This polish just glows, so gorgeous!
Next up is Topless in St Tropez, a gorgeous coral. This polish acts like a cream but has a pretty shimmer. I added some half moons using Panama Pina Colada, also from this collection. Topless took two coats and was very easy to work with.
Next up is Barefoot in Bermuda, a lovely hot pink. This is two coats and topvcoat. The formula on this one was good as well. Pretty much the great quality cream application that I've come to expect from Barielle.
This is Paradise in the Tropics, a slightly deeper pink that the previous polish. The formula on this one was runnier than the normal Barielle cream formula. I had a bit of clean up to do after applying this one.
Next we have Miami Heat, a red jelly. This is three coats and top coat. In the shade it looks looks pretty opaque but in the sun you can see the squishy, jellyness of it.
Last polish of the collection was a surprise favorite for me, as yellow isn't normally my thing. This is Panama Pina Colada. Three coats and top coat made it nice and even.
So there you have it! A collection of very pretty polishes from Barielle for summer. There are some great summer pedicure colors here for sure. You can purchase Barielle here and give them a like on facebook to keep up to date with new releases and sales.
Until next time...

Zach and Kelly
Hey guys! Today I have some silly fun to show you. A while back Wet n Wild did a Saved by the Bell collection. I loved that show so much! I never found a full display but I did manage to snag Chick Magnet Zack, the teal. You all know how much I love teal and this one is no exception. Two coats and it was perfect. My accent nail is Pom Pom Kelly. I was never able to find Kelly but a lovely polish friend sent it to me. Kelly took three coats and still wasn't great. The formula is typical of neons. I decided to add a heart using Zack and my Nail Vinyls. I kinda made a big old mess out of it all. Then to make matters worse I thought it was dry enough but when I put on my workout pants I squished the accent nail all up. Oh well, it's still a fun mani.
Until next time...

Pretty Stamped Mani
*Purchased by me*
Hey guys! When the OPI Sheer Tints first came out I was convinced I didn't need them. Then someone posted a mani similar to this and I fell in love. So much love that I ran to ebay and purchased the mini set. So let me give you the run down. I started out with a coat of my favorite one coat black, FingerPaints Black Expressionism. I used Glossy Glam to get it dry. Once it was dry I stamped using my new favorite white polish, Rica Whiteout. It's an amazing stamping polish but the best part is it's a one coat white. Yep you read that right. A one coat white! I let the stamping dry (although not long enough as you can see some smearing), then used the Sheer Tints in random swipes on my nails. Kind of giving it a water color look. Then I top coated the whole thing with Glossy Glam.
So I'm obviously not a perfect stamper but I'm getting better. A cashier asked me if I got my nails done when I had this on the other day and I proudly told her that I did them myself. I don't think she believed me haha! Have you tried out the Sheer Tints yet? I'd love to see what you've come up with. Feel free to drop a photo by my facebook page. Oh and don't forget to enter my giveaway!!

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things Giveaway
Hello! It's been forever since I've done a giveaway so I've been collecting things for the last couple of weeks. Everything I've picked out is one of my favorite things. These were all purchased by me except for Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer 2014. Julie was awesome and sent that along when I ordered the other polish from her last restock. Let me show you what you can win. Sorry folks but this is US only. It's so costly mail things internationally.
Starting on the left we have a mini China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise. Now I now it doesn't really look like a mini but it is. My camera did something really weird to this picture and it's dark now so I can't redo it. Next is Rica Bottled Unicorn Fart, which I showed you here. Next up is my favorite polish that has been release so far this year, Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Sordid End. Next to that is BEGL 2014. You can see Sordid End here and 2014 here. The last polish is Nail Nation 3000 Hollywood Nights. This polish is exclusive to a local beauty supply shop so I knew I had to throw it in. I've been loving on some Nail Nation polishes lately.
Next lets take a look at the non polish items.
Good luck!!

Sally Hansen Color Foils
*Press Sample*
Good morning everyone! Today I have three of the new Sally Hansen Color Foils to show you. These were sent to me from the pr company and I'm so excited to show you. The directions for these polishes say to not use base coat or top coat. When I first put on one of these I must have had some cuticle oil on my nail because the polish wouldn't stick to my nail. So I took it off, wiped down my nails really thoroughly with remover and started over. Much better results! Each polish is shown with two coats. Each one has two sun pictures and one shade pictures. When you first put them on they look a bit brush strokey but once they dry that goes away. The hard part is because there is no base coat you see every imperfection of the nail bed. One amazing thing about these is the dry time. These dried so, so fast.
First up is Purple Alloy.

My second pick is Minted Metal.
My favorite of the bunch is Cobalt Chrome.
All in all I liked these a lot more than I was expecting too. They are a bit finicky but if you are patient I think they are worth it. I'm curious to see how well these stamp. They are opaque enough for sure but because they dry so dang quickly they may not work super well. I'll have to check it out and get back to you guys.
Have a great Friday!

Color Club Feelin' Groovy
*Purchased by me*
Good morning! Today I have seriously the most obnoxious (in a good way) mani I've worn in a very long time. This in your face green is Color Club Feelin' Groovy. Like with most neons they can be a bit on the sheer side so this is three coats plus top coat. My accent nail is Color Club Sexy Siren layered over China Glaze Hanging in the Balance. This mani was so bright that Mr. MLiP noticed it before I shoved my fingers in his face to look at it.
Are you a neon fan or no? If you are what are your favorites? I love a good neon.
Until next time...

Rica Bottled Unicorn Fart
*Purchased by me*
Hello! I have a fun polish to show you today. This super cool glitter is Rica Bottled Unicorn Fart, fun neon glitters in a clear base. I started with a base mani of Sation Tardy Tart and Zoya Rocky on the accent nail. Then I did a quick (and if you look at my middle finger, unsuccessful) gradient, using the brush of the polish. The glitter laid flat and was smoothed out with a layer of Glossy Glam, Rica's quick dry top coat. It was a bit overcast when I took these photos so no direct sun shot today.
One of my favorite things about the Rica brand is if it's for sale in the shop then it is ready to ship right then. Every time I've ordered anything from Rica it's been shipped the next day. You can click here to check out the shop. Be sure to take a look at Glossy Glam while you're there. It's an awesome topcoat. You can find Rica on facebook as well. I hope you all have a fantastic day!
