I was digging around through some old picture files and found this mani from early December that was never posted. I almost always skip my Julep box but these polishes just seemed so pretty to me. Julep Misti went on perfectly in two coats. It was creamy and smooth. I added Julep Joelle as an accent nail. It has really pretty sparkles but there wasn't any sun the day I took the pictures. Since this mani screamed winter to me I added some snowflake glitters on the accent nail. Instead of buying polishes with snowflakes in them I just purchased some snowflakes from a glitter supply place and have been adding them to my manis.
Are you a Julep fan? I know people either seem to really love them or really hate them. Doesn't seem to be much in between. I think they make decent polishes that are a bit overpriced.

ReplyDeleteI have a love-hate relationship with Julep. I keep my Maven subscription because once in a while something will really jump out at me and I'll need it (like Eloise, or more recently, Nan) but the formulas are tricky and I feel like they're so overpriced. But then I can't resist those bottles... But then again, the one and only time I've had a spill accident was with these ridiculously unbalanced bottles, lol.
I keep my Maven sub too but hardly ever get it. This is the first one in a while for sure. I like the way the bottles line up in my helmer haha. Nice and orderly :)
