Shimmer Polish Bernice and Natalie

Hello my loves!  A while back I was a winner in a Shimmer Polish giveaway.  Along with the winnings she was awesome enough to send some extra polishes for review.  So I'll have a few posts coming up showing off a few Shimmer Polish beauties each time.  Up first I have Bernice, a dark tinted base with black, silver, blue and teal glitters.  Oh how I swooned when I first saw this one.  Love, love, love this!  I layered it over China Glaze Concrete Catwalk (and yes the formula on that one still sucks).  My pictures show just one coat and look at all that glitter.  This would definitely build up to be opaque on its own.  As usual with Shimmer the formula was spot on.  All the glitter is laying flat and smooth.  I did top this with a coat of Revlon Colorstay Gel topcoat and then a coat of Glossy Glam to finish it off.

Next up is Shimmer Natalie, blue, copper and turquoise glitter in a slightly tinted base.  I picked China Glaze At Vase Value (quite possibly the worst formula polish I've ever used) because I thought Natalie had a clear base.  Turns out it's a bit tinted so it changed the base color a bit but still looked really amazing.  This is one coat of Natalie topped with Glossy Glam topcoat.  Again the formula is just amazing.  It applied just like Bernice and every other Shimmer I've tried.

So what do you think?  Shimmer Polish is seriously one of the best indies I've used.  Super consistent with great customer service.  You can check out all Shimmer has to offer on etsy by clicking here and give them a like over on facebook.

Until next time...

Sara

  1. I have Natalie, which is super gorgeous and I can't wait to wear, but now I want Bernice! All of the glitters by Shimmer Polish are amazing.

  2. Shimmers are amazing, and I don't even like glitterbombs, lol. Both your duos look gorgeous but I'm particularly loving the drama of Bernice.
