BadAss Polish Chocolate Covered Cherry

*Polish provided for review*

Sun

Good morning!  Today I have a review of a really cool polish from BadAss Polish.  This is Chocolate Covered Cherry.  This polish is made up of bronze glitter and pink holographic glitter.  It reminds me of BadAss Dusk in formula and application.  It has great coverage and can be layered or built up to wear on it's own.  The first few pictures show one coat layered over black, except for my ring finger, it has two coats.  All the pictures have a coat of Gelous then topcoat, as this is a very thirsty glitter.

I wanted to show you what Chocolate Covered Cherry looked like on it's own.  I put on three coats, Gelous and then topcoat.  When I went to take the pictures it had shrunk back from my tips so these aren't the best pictures but I wanted you to see the amazingness that is Chocolate Covered Cherry on it's own.  This is not a reflection of the polish at all.  I'm sure the problem lies with my topcoat.

Look at all that sparkle.  It's amazing!  To sum it all up, I received this polish to review in exchange for my honest opinion.  My opinion is the formula is outstanding, the same great quality that I've come to expect from BadAss.  The color is truly unique to my collection.  It applied like a dream.  Lastly my topcoat was being stupid and didn't like this polish :)  You can get your own bottle of this pretty from the BadAss etsy shop.  Give them a like on facebook to stay up to date with all the BadAss going ons.

Have a great Wednesday!

BadAss Polish Copper Waters

*Polish sent for review*

Good morning!  Today I have a lovely polish from BadAss Polish to show you.  This is BadAss Copper Waters.  When I received this in the mail to review I stared at it for a few days trying to decide if I should layer it or try it on its own.  In the end I decided to layer it over a light blue, Zoya Blu, rather than layer it over a darker color so you could really see the glitter.  Copper Waters is packed full of holographic blue and copper glitters.  This is two coats of Copper Waters over Blu.

The formula was superb.  Exactly what I expect from BadAss.  Copper Waters applied so smoothly.  Plenty of glitter in each layer.  This polish will be available soon from BadAss's etsy shop for $8.75.  Be sure to give them a like on facebook to keep up to date on all their gorgeous polishes.  Plus there's a giveaway for Copper Waters on the BadAss facebook page that ends 04/13/13 at 12:00am.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sara

BadAss Polish Dusk

Sun
Today I have my favorite of the four polishes from BadAss Polish.  It was also the hardest for me to photograph.  I took so many pictures.  Dusk is made up of dark blue glitters with gold glitters mixed it.  I chose to layer this but it would definitely be opaque in three coats.  I just happened to like the way it looked over black.  This is two coats of Dusk over black on all fingers except my ring finger.  That is just one coat of Dusk.  The formula is on the thicker side but was super easy to control and had amazing coverage.  I seriously don't have the words to describe how much I love this.  I used a coat of Gelous and then topcoat and it was as smooth as any cream polish.

I think the shade pictures are my favorites.  You should definitely head over to BadAss Polish's etsy shop and pick this up.  Don't forget to give them a like on facebook.  I hope you have a great day!

BadAss Polish Bling

Shade
Happy Monday!  I had such a busy weekend.  To make up for it I'm doing nothing today.  Seems reasonable to me :)  This is the third BadAss Polish I have to show you.  Bling was inspired by the creator's husbands wedding ring.  It has several sizes of gold and silver glitter.  The formula was the same great quality as the others.  Seriously you guys, the formula and application on all of these has been outstanding.  I decided to layer one coat over Zoya Elisa.  I love the result.  It looks like a sophisticated holiday manicure.  When I was deciding what to wear this over I tried several things.  It also looks great over blue and purple, specifically Zoya Song and Suri.

This was so hard to photograph in the sun.

BadAss Polish Go Pack Go

Shade
Hello!  I'm back with the second polish I recieved from BadAss Polish.  This is Go Pack Go.  This lovely green and yellow glitter polish is inspired by the Green Bay Packers.  The polish has small green glitter and larger yellow hexes in a clear base.  Just as with America's Team, the application and formula of Go Pack Go is very good.  It was super smooth to apply and I didn't have to fish for the yellow hexes at all.  All the pictures are one layer of Go Pack Go over Zoya Ibiza with topcoat.

I think you could wear this polish on it's own with three coats.  I really love it layered over the dark blue though.  BadAss Polish's etsy shop is now open, click here for the link.  You can stay up to date by liking their facebook page here.  I have two more polishes to show you from BadAss early next week.  Until then, have a great day!

BadAss Polish America's Team

Sun
Good morning lacquerheads!  I'm really excited for today's post.  I recently recieved a few polishes from a brand new indie maker.  The brand is BadAss Polish and let me tell ya, these are pretty badass.  Beware lots of pictures ahead.  Let's start with the really cool packaging.  The polishes come inside the tubes you see in the picture.  Once you slide off the top you see a nice note from the creator of BadAss Polish.  Inside the tube is the polish wrapped in a piece of felt.  Not only does this protect the bottle during shipping but felt is great for removing glitter.  It's all I ever use to remove polish.

America's Team is inspired by the Dallas Cowboys.  It's a clear base with multiple sizes of silver glitter and blue stars.  This is definitely a layering polish so I decided on Zoya Elisa with an accent of Zoya Suri.  This is one coat of America's Team.  There is a good number of stars in this polish so I only had to pick out one for my pinky.  The other stars came right out on the brush.  America's Team was super easy to apply.  Once coat gave tons of the silver glitter.  I will definitely be wearing this polish with Zoya Elisa for the 4th of July.
