Mohda HD Beijo

Sun

Hello!  A few weeks ago I bought a mystery grab bag of nail polishes from someone in a sale group on facebook.  I normally stay away from grab bags but I decided to do this one.  The price was right and this person had great feedback so what the heck right?  I could not have been more thrilled with my box of polish.  The very first one I decided to try is Mohda Hd Beijo.  It's a sheer purple glass fleck polish.  I adore glass fleck polishes.  It's my very favorite finish.  Now this polish would require a gazillion coats to be opaque so in the interest of conserving this beauty, because I have no idea where to buy more, I layered it over Island Girl Aloha Luau.  This is two coats over the Island Girl, which by the way has a really weird runny but opaque formula.  The Mohda was super easy to use though.

Shade
Holy macaroli as my boys like to say.  I'm so in love with this it's ridiculous.  I bet this would look amazing over black or even a blue polish too.  I need to get more of these right away.  I just don't know where to find them.  Do you have any idea where I can find them?

Have a great Tuesday!

*I purchased this polish myself in a great grab bag.  Makes me wary to buy another grab bag b/c I know I will just be disappointed.*

Jade Joy

Shade
Hello everyone!  Tonight I have just the prettiest polish to show you.  This beauty is Jade Joy from the Diamond line.  This was gifted to me from a lovely lady in one of my facebook groups.  I may have squealed when I opened it.  Glass fleck is my absolute favorite polish finish.  Joy is a orange/coral/pinkish color.  Kinda reminds me of Zoya Rica only amped up a bit.  Shown in all the pictures is three coats and topcoat.

Okay I know that was a lot of pictures but I just had to show you all the awesomeness.  My favorite picture is the first one in the shade.  I love that you can see all the colors that reflect back in this polish.  Just love so much!  So now I'm curious.  What is your all time favorite polish finish?  Drop me a comment and let me know.

Until next time...

*This polish was given to me and only me.  You can't have it.  Go buy your own bottle of this pretty.*

My Vegas Nails!

Hey lovlies!  Today's post features the nails that I wore on my recent trip to Vegas.  This is China Glaze Running in Circles with Water You Waiting For sponged on using an eye shadow applicator.  Running in Circles is the most amazing green polish I own.  China Glaze does these glass flecks so well.  I used two coats for this manicure but in retrospect I should have used three.  I don't have any pictures of this in the sun because you could see major vnl and they looked terrible.  Then I sponged on Water You Waiting For.  I can't wait to wear this polish on its own.

Mr. MLiP loved these nails and I got several compliments on my trip.  Plus it wore like iron.  No chipping or anything while we were gone.  Do you have a favorite China Glaze glass fleck?  I feel like I should own them all.  It's my favorite polish finish.

Until next time,

Sara

*These are my very own polishes.  No one gave them to me.  Well, the girl at Sally's did but I have her money, so it doesn't count.*

China Glaze Smoke and Ashes

First I should say that I am a huge Hunger Games fan. I've read the trilogy a few times and just love it. So when it was announced that China Glaze was doing a Hunger Games collection I knew I'd have to have most of them. Today I have Smoke and Ashes to show you. It is an amazing black glass fleck with blue/green shimmer in the right light. The formula was outstanding as well. Two coats made it perfect. You might be able to get away with one thicker coat if you are careful. I added Luxe and Lush, a mylar flakie, to the accent finger. Love! I don't really know that my photos are doing this polish justice but trust me, it is gorgeous. Check it out!

This last photo was taken in the sun. The others were in the shade. I honestly liked how this looked in the shade better.

So have you read the Hunger Games? If you have, do you have any other books to recommend that I may like just as much? Can't wait to show you guys the rest that I've picked up. Have a great day!
