Essie Where's My Chauffer & Beyond Cozy

Sun
Hey all!  This evening I have my actual nail of the day to share with you.  I've had naked nails for a few days after having the MOHs procedure done to remove skin cancer.  I wasn't allowed to wear polish for it.  I really disliked having to go around with my funky, naked nails.  Anyway to perk myself up I went for two Essie polishes from their new winter collection.  Today I have Where's My Chauffer (those that know me had to see this coming) and Beyond Cozy.  Where's My Chauffer is a gorgeous blue leaning turquoise.  I have some similar colors so hopefully I'll be able to get up a comparison for you all.  This is two coats of WMC.  The formula was pretty good.  It wanted to drag a bit so I suggest waiting a few minutes between coats.

My accent nail is Essie Beyond Cozy.  Not my usual style of polish but for some reason it was calling to me.  I love this so much.  It's a silver and gold glitter.  In the store and inside it leans more gold and outside in the sun it pulls more silver on me.  Mr. MLiP says I'm nuts and it just looks gold all the time.  The formula on this one is fantastic.  This is two coats for full coverage.  It is so sparkly outside.  Can't wait to wear it as a full mani.

Have you picked up any of the new Essie collection?  I kinda want the blue one still.  Have a great night and I'll talk with you soon.

ManGlaze ILF

Sun

Oh my!  Oh my!  Oh my!  You all know that I'm in love with all polishes teal/turquoise/aqua.  Love them!  I've wanted ILF forever.  Ever since the first time I saw it, I've loved it.  I recently participated in a super cool swap and this is one of many cool polishes I recieved.  ManGlaze make the most awesome matte polishes.  The formula is far superior to any other mattes I've tried.  This is two coats of ILF.  I had almost zero clean up with this one.  Originally I wanted to use my stripping tape on my accent nail but I've put it in a safe place as my mom would say, and I can't find it.  So half moon mani it is.  I used Fuggen Ugly for the accent nail.  The combo is awesome!  Even Mr. MLiP thought so and he normally doesn't care.

The last picture is really poor but you can really see the sparkle in Fuggen Ugly.  I just had to show that to you.  I know not everyone loves mattes but I love this combo.  What do you think?

Birthday Nails

Sun
Happy Thursday!  Yesterday was my birthday.  It was a good day.  I had lunch with my boys and dinner at my mom's with the whole family.  Mr. MLiP even made it back into town early enough to have dinner with us all.

Since I now have so many new Julep polishes I thought I'd try out a few for my birthday nails.  This is two coats of Julep Daphne with Julep Kate on my accent nail.  The formula on Kate was pretty good.  I used two coats but if I wasn't putting glitter on top I would probably have done three.  Then I put one coat of Julep Mila over the whole thing.  I really enjoyed this fun sparkly manicure.

I know Daphne has some dupish (yep I'm making up works again) tendencies.  However this is my favorite type of color right now and the formula on this one is great.  So I can forgive it.  What is your favorite aqua/teal/turquoise polish right now?

Julep Robin & Portia

Sun

Hello everyone!  I hope you're all having a great week so far.  It's been so hot here.  Like 113 type of hot.  My son has soccer camp in the evenings and I just don't know how he's doing it.  Any how, today I have Julep Robin and Portia to show you.  Robin is a turquoise creme with a really good formula.  This is two coats plus topcoat.  I love colors like this, you all know that.  Amazingly I don't have anything that is a dupe.  I have some I'm sure Mr. MLIP would say are the same, but I assure you they are not.  I put Julep Portia on two fingers just because they seemed to match so well.  Portia is a sheer light blue with tons of glitter packed in.

Don't forget I'm having a small giveaway over on my Zoya Annie post.  Do you have a favorite turquoise polish?  Let me know.  I'd love to check it out.  Have a great day!

Barielle Do Unto Others & Buddha-ful

Hi there my lovelies!  Today I have a combo that while the pictures are okay, real life is much better.  This is two coats of Barielle Do Unto Others.  This gorgeous aqua/turquoise color is somewhere in between a jelly and a cream.  The formula couldn't have been any easier to use.  I had zero clean up with Do Unto Others.  Next I added a layer of Barielle Buddha-ful on top.  I can't claim this idea.  I saw it on another blog but can't for the life of me remember which one.  So thank you to the blogger that wore it first.  Buddha-ful is a super sheer, milky pink flakie.  I can't wait to try it over a bright pink.

I hope you like today's combo.  What is your favorite Barielle shade?  You can check them out at Barielle.com.  Have a great day!

*Do Unto Others was sent to me by the PR company.  I purchased Buddha-ful myself*

Zoya Wednesday and CND Violet Shimmer

Yay it's Friday!  I have the coolest manicure to show you guys today.  My combo today is Zoya Wednesday and CND Violet Shimmer (I keep trying to type violent shimmer haha).  I'm so in love with this it's ridiculous.  I will be wearing this again and again, on my finger and toes.  This is two coats of Zoya Wednesday, a green leaning dusty turquoise.  A gorgeous color, with a gorgeous formula.  Then I added a coat of CND Violet Shimmer.  The result is amazing!  I think it's reminiscent of another expensive polish, but I'll let you be the judge of that.  All the pictures today were taken in the sun.  Take a look!

This last picture is Wednesday by itself.  Two coats no topcoat.  I can't wait to wear this again.  Does everyone love the CND shimmers as much as I do?  They are amazing.  I kinda want to put them on everything.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
