Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Look At These A$$holes

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Look at These A$$holes
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Look at These A$$holes

Hey guys!  I have a mani to show you today that I am downright obsessed with.  I'm still wearing it right now and don't intend to take it off any time soon.  This is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) Look at These A$$holes.  It's a gorgeous pinky/orange/coral color.  When I got the bottle it looked really pink and I'm not a huge pink lover but once I put it on I got this crazy neon orange.  So much love for this one!  I added a quick gradient using BEGL Siren's a Special Snowflake for some extra sparkle.

Okay so this polish is still available in the BEGL shop but heads up, Julie says it is light sensitive and should be stored in a dark place.  There is a chance that it may fade if left in bright situations.  It had several warning stickers on it and came in a cute black bag.  Best part is the price was reduced because of the fading possibility so it's a killer deal.  Mine lives in a helmer so I'm sure it will be fine.

I hope you guys liked this one.  Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

A Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Pairing

Hey guys!  You all know I'm a huge fan of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL).  BEGL has an LE line of polishes with Siren in the name.  There's usually a new one every month as well as a few random ones thrown in here and there.  I paired two Sirens for this mani.  The blue is And Then Siren Slept for a Year, a gorgeous blue that was perfect in two coats.  The pink is Siren's Pet Monster, a squishy pink that needed three coats.  The flecks in it are just perfect.  I used some french tip guides to add the blue accents to the pink nails.  I'm just loving the end result!

The moms at my son's baseball practice loved this look.  I'm thinking both these polishes will make great pedi colors soon.  It's still crazy warm here so I'll be wearing flip flops for a while.  Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Combo

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Might Not Recover

Hey guys!  How is everyone today?  I have a quickie post today showing off one of my favorite manis lately.  I showed this off on facebook the other day but I thought it still deserved it's own post.  I started out with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Hypothermia as my base color.  Then I added one coat of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Might Not Recover on top.  The result is the crazy, sparkly mani.

I loved this combo so much that I put it on my toes yesterday.  Mr. MLiP walked by and said it looked like I had bruises on my toes.  Pffft...What the heck does he know?

Have a great day!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Summer Vacation

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Summer Vacation
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Summer Vacation

Hello!  I always struggle with showing you guys polishes that aren't readily available for purchase.  But then I think what if someone is looking to buy it in a destash and is searching for photos then it might be helpful.  So today I have Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Summer Vacation.  This is a gorgeous polish!  I love the Siren line and own all but one that I missed out on.  This is definitely one of my favorites by far.  I used two coats and top coat.  It dries to a satiny finish so a glossy top coat was a must.

BEGL puts out an LE Siren each month.  You should give them a like on facebook to keep up with the latest info.

Look I Stamped!!

Hey all!  Recently I was perusing Instagram and saw Bundle Monster had a new huge stamper.  This sucker is gigantic!  I shared a photo on my facebook page the other day.  Now I'm not a huge stamper just because the inner perfectionist in me freaks out at the littlest imperfections.  But I just had to see this stamper in person, so I ordered it.  It came super fast from Hawaii.  Last night I decided to stamp a full mani and see how it worked.  I have to say I'm pretty impressed.  It picked up the images super easy and I was able to cover my whole nail pretty easy.  I started with a base color of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Monster's Tea at Tiffany's, then used a black cream to stamp this image from Mash plate 48.

So it's not perfect but I'm loving it.  I feel like I have the stamping bug again.  Now to build up some courage to try out some of the really neat stamping techniques.

Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by.

Hello!  I have two gorgeous Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) polishes for you today.  I just got these in the mail day before yesterday and just couldn't wait to put them on.  The green is Queen Lime Rose Zinnia.  It's a light green with a pink shimmer.  I did need three coats to even it out.  Love, love, love this!  My accent nail is BEGL Kaffir Lily.  Look at that holo!  This was perfect in two coats.

Hey all!  I know I've shown you this before but I wore it again and just couldn't resist showing it off for a second time.  This is two coats of Void Stuff and and accent nail of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer She's Electricity.  I used some Nail Vinyls to add a nail art flare.  Haha that's about as flare as I get.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Review

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I have three polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to show you today.  Those of you that have been around a while know that Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) is one of my favorite indies so I'm always thrilled to show them off to you.

First up we have Grandpa, an off white creme with rose and gold microflakies (totally stole that description right from the BEGL site).  This is three coats and top coat.  For a white this was very well behaved.  I'm a sucker for a white polish so I'm loving this one.

Next up is Oy, Stupid Face!, a hot pink with blue/purple and blue/green flakies.  This is such a fun girly pink.  I used three coats and top coat for this one.

My final polish today is Mickey Smith. Defending the Earth, a hunter green linear holo with gunmetal flakies.  I love this one!!  This is two coats and top coat.  This wore like iron for several days.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Crooked Hearts Collection Review (Partial)

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  Super excited to share today's post with you.  I have three gorgeous polishes from the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer upcoming Crooked Hearts collection.  I'm going to start of with my favorite of the three, Cold Inside Me.  I'm going to use Julie's color descriptions because I really stink at describing colors.  Cold Inside Me is a medium teal with blue to teal to purple shifting glass flecks.  Glass fleck is my favorite polish finish and teal is my favorite polish color.  This was pure win for me!  I do believe I have a new favorite polish.  I want to wear this over and over.  The formula is outstanding.  It was easy to control and perfect in two coats.

Next up is Believin' Won't Fly a dark navy blue with icy blue flash.  I used two coats for my photos today but this was pretty perfect in one.  My husbands work is having a fancy party this weekend and I'm wearing a red dress.  I'm thinking of wearing this polish to go with it.

Lastly I have Together Dead and Lonely a black jelly with silver and red holo microglitters.  Let me start by saying my photos don't do this polish justice at all.  The holo glitters sparkle like crazy in the sun.  This is just two coats.  I think that's pretty amazing for a jelly polish.  It was very even and easy to use.

There is a green in this collection that I will be jumping on the launch to get my hands on.  What will you be getting?  I highly recommend Cold Inside Me.  Everyone needs it!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer 2000 Years

Hello!  Today I have a fun layering of two polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers.  You all know this is one of my favorite indie brands.  I started with a base color of Sewing Shadows, a gorgeous light blue.  It was on the thicker side and but I couldn't tell if it was because my fingers were freezing while I was painting them or if the polish actually needed to be thinned.  So I just went with it and I will check it again later when I'm not so dang cold.  Then I added one coat of 2000 Years to finish it of.  The glitter payoff was fantastic.  It was very even in application and smoothed out with top coat.

Super quick post for you guys today but I appreciate you stopping by to take a look.  The Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop is closed right now but you can give her a like on facebook to keep an eye on reopening dates.  There's a new collection coming up very soon and from what I've seen on some other blogs it looks great!

Have a great day!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Void Stuff

*Polishes purchased by me.  Decal sent for review.*

Hello!  How is everyone today?  I hope you have your bibs ready for today's mani.  You'll need it to catch the drool.  This is seriously amazing.  I used two polishes from one of my all time favorite indies, Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  This is Void Stuff with an accent of Zero Balance Dwarf Star Alloy.  Two coats of each polish was all that was needed.  I added a pink snowflake decal from Lacquer by Lissa to complete the look.  These decals are so easy to use.  I pull them off the backing with tweezers, place them on the nail and then top coat the whole thing.

Until next time...

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Too Plump
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Too Plump

Hello!  A little while back I won a cool giveaway of two Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers that were made to celebrate the two year anniversary of Plump & Polished.  Ashely, the awesome lady behind Plump & Polished, worked with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to create an amazing duo, Too Plump and Too Polished.  Today I have Too Plump, a gorgeous purple, to show you.  The other half of this duo, Too Polished is an amazing teal.  This purple you guys went on like butter, so smooth.  This is two coats plus top coat.  I added Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Belladonna as an accent nail.  According to Mr. MLiP "those flecks look totally 80's."

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Chlorine Light

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  How is everyone's weekend so far?  I spent my day mattress shopping with the husband and my boys.  Ugh!  Not sure what I was thinking taking the boys along.  So let's get to why you are really here, the mani!  This gorgeous is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) Chlorine Light.  It's a gorgeous blue holo with a fantastic two coat formula.  It was pretty opaque with one coat so I bet you could stamp with it.  I added an accent nail using Nail Vinyls and BEGL Dawn Breaks.

Luckily the sun was out for a while this morning so I got some great shots of this.  Shortly after the clouds rolled in and we got some wicked storms.  We've had some outrageous rain here in the desert the last few weeks.  Like record setting rain totals.  Here is the BEGL shop so you can get some pretty polishes of your own and here is the facebook page.  Give BEGL a like.  There is a super cute Halloween collection being released soon.  I've been on a polish no buy recently but will break it for some of those.

Have a great night!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer LE Sunburned Siren

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  Today I have the next polish in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Limited Edition Siren line.  I freakin love this one!  This is Sunburned Siren.  Two coats of orangey-coraly goodness.  I did use top coat as well.  This does dry with just a touch of texture but it was completely smooth with a coat of Rica Glossy Glam.

I'm just so very in love with this.  I plan on using it for my next pedicure color.  It's still very much sandal weather here so I will be rocking this one.  I believe there is a new Siren each month.  I can't wait to see what next month holds.  This will be available on Sept 21 in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop.  Have a great night everyone!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Seashore

*Purchased by me*

Hey everyone!  Today I have a quick and easy mani featuring a limited edition polish from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, Siren Seashore, and China Glaze So Blue Without You.  Siren Seashore was a limited edition that sadly is no longer available but it's so pretty I had to show it off.  I used three coats of Siren Seashore and two coats of So Blue Without You.  So Blue is seriously one of my favorite blues.

While Siren Seashore is no longer for sale, there is another polish form the LE Siren line coming up later this month I believe.  You can see a sneak peek on Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's facebook page.  Have you tried out BEGL yet?  If not, you should!  BEGL is one of my absolute favorite indies.  Have a nice night!

Until next time...
