Nicole by OPI Coca-Cola Collection

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  Today I have the Coca Cola collection from Nicole by OPI (NOPI).  This is a cute collection of six polishes.  Before I jump in I just have to say that the formula on all of these was really good.  They were a breeze to put on.  All polishes have a sun photo and a shade photo.

First up is The Look is Orange, a bright orange cream.  It was perfectly even and smooth in two coats.

Next up is Always a Classic Coca-Cola, a pretty red metallic.  Again is was just perfect in two coats.

This is Zero is My Hero.  I actually really like this one.  It's so far out what I normally like but I just loved it on.  This is two coats and top coat.

DC Lover is a fun silver and red glitter polish.  This is the only one that took 3 coats.  I'm thinking next time I wear this I may layer it over something.  In person it looked opaque but in my photos it looks like it could use another coat I think.

In Grape Demand is a very pretty purple cream with an outstanding formula.  This is two coats but not top coat.  I know I alway use top coat for photos but I was going to put on the glitter after showing you this one.

Last we have my favorite from the collection, Seriously Citrus.  It's a fun glitter topper that just screams Sprite.  This is one coat layered over In Grape Demand with top coat.  I have to tell you guys I wore this mani for six days.  Probably some sort of record really.  One of those days I cleaned three houses and did not have a single chip.  The next day I did two houses and had a couple small chips and a bit of wear.  That's when I finally removed it.

So there you have it!  While not overly exciting colors the formula was excellent on these.  If they would fill a hole in your collection I highly recommend them.  You can find more information on their website www.nicolebyopi.com/.

Thanks for stopping by!

NOPI Sweet Dreams

Shade

Good morning!  Shortly before Christmas I was out doing some last minute shopping with a friend.  We stumbled upon a new display of the NOPI Selena Gomez line.  Since I was Christmas shopping I limited myself to one.  Of course I haven't been able to find them since and the store we were at is too far from my house for casual polish shopping.  Sweet Dreams is a clear base with small purple glitters and bigger teal and silver hexes.  It's so pretty.  Even my non polish obsessed friend (Hi Erin!) bought one.

I layered one coat of Sweet Dreams over Rimmel I Lilac You and Sally Hansen Extreme Wear Breezy Blue.  I found the Rimmel in a new display at Walgreens.  It has a pretty good formula and was opaque in two coats.  Breezy Blue took three coats and I'm not convinced that I like it.  Can't really say why I don't like it but I don't.  There are a few more from this line I'd like to pick up if I can ever find them again.  Do you have a favorite from the Selena Gomez line?

Have a great day!

Sara

*I got this polish in my Christmas stocking.  So technically Santa gave it to me.*

Nicole by OPI It's All About the Glam

sun

So I don't watch the Kardashians or really know much about them but I do know a great nail polish color when I see it. NOPI It's All About the Glam is a shimmery white. I love white nails, especially when they have some shimmer to them. This is four coats and I still have a little VNL that is much more apparent in the pictures than in real life. I think next time I will put a coat or two of plain white polish down first then this one. You can really see the shimmer in the shade pictures. In the sun it just kinda looks like plain white. In the shade you can also see how badly I suck at clean up of shimmery or glittery colors. Honestly I usually just clean off the glitter in the shower.

There is one other color from this collection I'm considering. The black/grey glitter one. Don't know the name. I don't know though. I have several like that already. Did you get any of the Kardashian colors?

Thanks for reading,
Sara

PS* Just wanted to say that I appreciate all the comments left on my blog. For some reason blogger won't let me comment in Firefox or IE. So the only time I can comment on my blog or someone else's is from my phone. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go blind trying to see things on my phone :)

NOPI Give Me the 1st Dance

outside shade
Let me just start by saying that no I am not a Bieber fan.  I'm too old for that.  I do love this polish though.  Nicole by OPI Give Me the 1st Dance is a silver metallic/foil.  I'm really bad with finishes.  This is two super easy coats.  Don't think I'm a fan of the perfect stroke brush.  I would imagine it would be really hard to use if you had small nails.  Mine aren't particularly small and this brush fills my pinkie nail up.

Here in Phoenix, I don't have access to the cool pumpkin or snowman nail polishes they sell at Rite Aid.  My mom loves me though and brought back a few pumpkin polishes from a recent trip back east.  I decided to layer the orange and black string (bar?) glitter over my silver.  The glitter took a little work but I must say the end result made me very happy.  This is 3 coats of glitter, a coat of gelous and a topcoat.  There was a lot of stuff on my nails for this one, but the result is a cute, simple Halloween manicure.

Do you love or hate NOPI?  I don't mind it.  I know a lot of people really dislike the bottles.

Have a happy day!
Sara

PS* If anyone has a dying need to send me some snowman polishes, feel free :)  Just kidding but I do really wish we had a Rite Aid around here.
