LynBDesigns Double Bluff

LynBDesigns Double Bluff
LynBDesigns Double Bluff

Hey everyone!  I have a gorgeous holo for you today.  This is LynBdesigns Double Bluff.  It's a gorgeous neutral holo.  I normally don't gravitate towards shades like this but Mr. MLiP choose it so I wore it.  This was perfect in two coats and I'm wearing top coat just like always.

LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular

*Purchased by me*

LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular
LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular

Hello everyone!  Today I have the prettiest polish to show you.  This is LynBDesigns Make Your Life Spectacular, a gorgeous light purple holo.  It's a very subtle shade with a big holo bang.  I used three coats plus top coat for this one.  It did start out pretty sheer so I was concerned that it might not build up but it did in the end.  I'd actually really like to try layering one coat over a light purple, maybe like Barielle Rain in Spain.  I bet that would be gorgeous!

LynBDesigns Blue Moonstone

Hi Everyone!  I have a quickie post tonight of a mani that I was so in love with.  This is LynBDesigns Blue Moonstone with a small accent of LynBDesigns All Holo's Eve.  I'm having a bad blogger moment and I can't remember if this is two or three coats of Blue Moonstone.  I do remember that the formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I had very minimal clean up with this polish.  I bought some cool french tip guides from Born Pretty Store.  They have a few different shapes that give different looks than the typical french tip guide.  All of today's pictures were taken in full sunlight.

I hope you all have a fabulous night.  Until next time...

*I bought these polishes myself.  I stalked the LynBDesigns facebook page for a sale then jumped all over these two.*

LynBDesigns Am I Ginger?

Hellllooooo!  How is everyone tonight?  Tonight I have a gorgeous orange holo for you but first I must admit that I only bought this because I am a ginger.  This polish is from LynBDesigns Doctor Who line but I've never watched it.  I just thought the name was great.  This is Am I Ginger?.  I haven't always been the biggest holo lover but they are starting to grow on me.  The holo in this beautiful orange made me so happy.  This is two coats with topcoat then I stamped on a pumpkin using Wet n Wild Black Creme.  I managed to break my stamper right after this nail so it ended up being an accent nail mani.

I should also mention that I took these pictures after working all day.  We did three houses that day and I can't even believe that this held up.  I slapped on some cuticle products so you weren't subjected to that mess and took the pictures.  Now my other hand was a hot mess.  I broke a nail and had large chips on three fingers.

Until next time my dears...

LynBDesigns The Many Colors of Seuss Part 2

*Polishes sent for review*

Good morning everyone!  Today I have part two of my review of LynBDesigns The Many Colors of Seuss polishes.  I have three more from this fun collection.  I'm just going to dive right in.  Up first is Act Swiftly Awesome Pachyderm (ASAP).  This is a sheer gray shimmery base with mulit colored hex and square glitter.  I layered it over Zoya Freja, a gunmetal gray.  I put on one coat and realized I didn't have many of the larger glitters.  I had to do some fishing to get them out of the bottle initially but once they started coming out I had plenty.  So after fishing a few hexes/squares out I did a second coat and had plenty.  This was such a fun, happy mani and I really enjoyed wearing it.

Up next is I've Got a Thing.  This is a berry colored jelly with white, blue and irridescent glitters.  It's like a jelly sandwich in a bottle.  Originally I wanted to layer this over a red berry colored polish.  Then I realized that I don't own any red berry polishes, just not my thing.  After messing around a bit I realized that three coats would get me really good coverage and it didn't need to be layered.  On my pinky is two coats of I've Got a Thing over China Glaze Urban Night.  All the other fingers have three coats of I've Got a Thing.

Lastly I have All The Whos in Whoville.  When I first opened this up I thought it was white shards and hexes in a clear base.  Cool because I don't own anything like it.  Imagine my surprise when I put it on and out popped a star and then a heart two dips into the bottle later.  How fun is that!  I decided to layer this over a bunch of colors.  I used Wet N Wild Black Creme, Essie Mesmerized, Barielle Do Unto Others and Zoya Mira.  I don't know that I could pick a favorite combo out of those.  All the Whos in Whoville looked fantastic over them all.  This is one and a half coats.  I had some spots that needed some extra of the smaller glitters on them.  The stars and hearts came out pretty well.  I only had to fish out one heart.

I really liked all the polishes I reviewed from this collection.  They really are fun which is what you'd expect from Seuss inspired collection.  You can buy any of these polishes or check out the others from this collection in the LynBDesigns etsy shop.  Make sure to like her on facebook.  You'll be the first to know of any new collections or coupon codes.

I know this is a super long post compared to what I normally do so thank you if you've made it this far. I hope you all have an amazing day.

LynBDesigns Don't Torture Me

Sun
Hello!  This is my 250th post.  Hard to believe that I've stuck with this for that long.  I really wanted to make this post a giveaway but it's pouring outside and I can't take any photos so keep an eye out for my giveaway next week.  Today I have a polish that I am absolutely over the moon in love with.  This is LynBDesigns Don't Torture Me.  It's a light blue that looks purple sometimes depending on the light.  Maybe periwinkle would be a good color to describe it.  It has white flakies in it that give it a really cool depth.  I suck at describing things so look at the pictures then go directly to get your own bottle :)

Shade
The formula of Don't Torture Me was great.  Even, opaque coverage in three coats.  Plenty of flakies with each dip into the bottle.  You can find LynBDesigns on etsy and facebook.  She's always running sales so be sure to give her a like on facebook.  I hope you all have a great weekend.  Feel free to stop by my facebook page and share your weekend manis.

*I bought this polish myself.  Pretty sure I have an etsy shopping problem.  Surprised Mr. MLiP hasn't blocked the site on the computer yet.  Probably shouldn't give him any ideas.*

LynBDesigns Kiss Kiss & Not So Conversational Hearts

Sun
Good morning!  I have two polishes today from LynBDesigns that I'm really excited to show you.  First up is Kiss Kiss, a shimmery coral color.  I'm so in love with this color it's ridiculous.  The application was a breeze.  This is three coats.  Two coats was pretty but I still had some VNL.  Not only is this a great Valentine's Day color, it's also going to make a great pedi color in the summer.  Considering it was almost 80 here yesterday maybe I should just put it on my toes now.

Jenna, the brains behind this indie, suggested layering Kiss Kiss over black.  It's stunning!  My index finger has two coats over black and all the other fingers have one coat over black.  I prefer one coat but my application was less than stellar.  That's what I get for polishing my nails while talking to my little guy.  It has nothing to do with the polish at all.

Next up we have Not So Conversational Hearts.  The name just cracks me up!  This is a lavender creme that has both black and white shreds and hearts.  Shown here is three coats.  I had a bit of patchiness after two so I added another.  I had to fish a bit for the hearts.  They kept coming to the neck of the bottle, so I'd get them out with the brush and place them on my nails.  I've never had an indie creme polish before and I have to say I'm pretty impressed by the quality.  This is a fun Valentine's Day polish.

All in all I really like these polishes.  Do you own any LynBDesigns polishes?  I have a few more on my wishlist, mostly Thor's Hammer.  Be sure to follow LynBDesigns on facebook.  There are specials and sales being run all the time.  Click here to head on over to her etsy shop and order some lovely polishes of your own, because you can't share mine :)

Until next time,

Sara

*No funny quip today.  I know you're disappointed :)  These polishes were sent to me in exchange for my honest review.*
