Bettina Orchidea

Hey guys!  Quickie post for ya today.  This is Bettina Orchidea, basically the perfect light mint color.  Bettina makes great creams and this was no exception, two coats and topcoat shown here.  I used chevron decals from Make It Stick on my accent nail.

I think my accent nail kinda looks like an easter egg.  I'm not convinced that's a good thing in this case.  The bubbles on my nail are from my topcoat.  Not sure what happened there.

Have a great day!

Sara

*This polish was purchased by me after trying to get the folks at Bettina to respond to my emails for 3 months.  It is so worth it.*

Julep Shenae

Sun
Hello!  Quickie post for you today showing Julep Shenae.  I'm obsessed with mints, all mints.  This mint has a very pretty shimmer that shows in the right light.  You can't see the shimmer inside but I do think it helps give this polish some depth.  I believe this is two coats but I wore this a while ago and honestly I'm not sure.  Sorry about that :)

Shade
What is your favorite mint polish?  This one and Zoya Neely are both at the top of my list.  I hope you all have a fantastic day.

*I skipped my Maven box the month this came out but a lovely polish friend was kind enough to add this on to hers and feed my mint colored obsession.*

Enchanted Polish Britney SpearMint

Good morning everyone!  Today I have my very first Enchanted Polish to show you.  I'm not a huge holo fan (I know, I know, you can throw things at me later).  So when I decided that I wanted Britney SpearMint I thought it was a little weird.  I'm just so attracted to all things mint.  It's just so pretty that this may be the polish that pulls me over to the holo side.  I don't know that I'll ever love those super linear holos but I do love this nice soft holo.  I layered two coats of Britney SpearMint over Zoya Neely, the perfect base for this polish.  The formula and application of Britney was pure perfection.

All of the photos were taken in the sun except for the last one.  I definitely need to get my hands on some more Enchanteds.  They can be super hard to get through restocks and what not though.  Oh well, I'll get some more eventually.  I hope you all have a fabulous day.

Until next time,

Sara

*I purchased this polish myself.  I got caught up in llarowe launch madness and I'm so happy I did.*

Gosh Miss Minty & A England She Walks in Beauty

Sun
Hello!  So a while back I bought A England She Walks in Beauty on a whim.  Then it sat and sat in my untrieds because I didn't know what to wear it with.  I saw it on another blog paired with a sage/mint green and it was gorgeous.  I just new I had to wear this combo.  Sadly I can't remember what blog I saw it on to credit them but just know this isn't my original idea, although I think their gradient was going the other way.  This is two coats of GOSH Miss Minty.  If I was wearing it by itself I would have added another coat for sure.  Then I used an eyeshadow applicator to sponge on some She Walks in Beauty.  I really like this combo but I still think I'm looking for the perfect polish for under She Walks.  If you have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

Shade
I hope you all have a great Tuesday!  Talk with you soon.

*I purchased both these polishes myself.  GOSH came from Las Vegas where Mr. MLiP was letting me buy pretty much whatever I wanted.  Gotta love being able to walk anywhere with your beer.  It must make you not pay attention to your wife's spending.*

China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On

Hey guys!  Just a quick post today as my head is killing me after yesterday's procedure and I figure you probably don't want to listen to me whine about it.  These are a couple of my picks from the China Glaze Avant Garden collection.  The main color is Keep Calm, Paint On, a pale mint shimmer.  It went on in two coats and was seriously perfect.  My accent nail is China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around, a white glass fleck.  It's super pretty but kind of sheer.  It took three coats to look good.  I added dots using China Glaze Fancy Pants and Keep Calm, Paint On.  Both these pictures were taken in the sun.  All my shade shots made me fingers look so red.  Sorry about that.

I hope you all have a great Friday.  Until next time...

Catrice Sold Out Forever

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We had lots of fun this weekend but now I have a sick husband and kid. Sorry about the lack of posts this weekend. To make up for it I have a lovely polish to show you. I recently did a swap with a great lady from the Netherlands. I received my first Catrice polishes. Today I have Catrice Sold Out Forever for your viewing pleasure. Sold Out Forever is a dusty, minty green with a slight shimmer. Three coats made this polish perfect. Apparently there are two versions of this polish, the original (this one) and a second one that is lacking in green color. Oh and my accent nail is Spoiled Pet My Peacock. Cool glitter with a nasty, awful brush. Take a look.

This last picture isn't the greatest but I really wanted you to be able to see the shimmer this polish has. I will definitely have to get more Catrice. I'm actually still wearing the polish as I type and it still looks really good 5 days later. I hope you all have a beautiful Monday. Take care!

Sonia Kashuk Fairy Princess

Today's polish is a real stunner. This is three coats of Sonia Kashuk Fairy Princess. I was at Target a few weeks ago checking out the polish of course, when I picked up what I thought was mint cream color. To my surprise and delight this mint polish has an amazing blue shimmer in it. Best part is that it is completely noticeable on the nail. This is three coats and topcoat. Take a look!

I just love it when a polish shocks me like this did. It's a fantastic polish plus the name is killer, right? Have you tried any Sonia Kashuk polishes. I have a few and they are all great.

Have a happy Tuesday!
