Dragon Claw Polish Rainbow Sherbet Collection

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I have the summer offering from Dragon Claw Polish for you today.  This is the Rainbow Sherbet collection.  Janet, the maker, describes these as creme neon polishes.  To me they have a bit more of a jelly consistency.  These are some seriously bright polishes.  Now they do have a bit of learning curve to them.  It helped to let them dry a bit between coats.  Now let me tell you what you're going to see in each photo.  The first two nails have a white base layer and two coats of the Dragon Claw polish.  The next two nails are three coats of the Dragon Claw over my regular clear base coat.  You can see the white really makes them pop, especially the green.  That was my favorite! Mr. MLiP loved the green too.

First up is Luscious Lime.  You can see that three coats leaves me with a bit of visible nail line (vnl) but check it out over that white.  So bright and happy!

Next is Wonderous Watermelon.  Such a great girly pink.

This is Blazing Banana.  I like how this one looks over the white and on the bare nail.

Dragon Claw Polish Game of Chromes (Partial) Review

*Press Sample*

Dragon Claw Polish Through the Moon Door at Midnight

Hello!  Dragon Claw Polish is back with a new collection, Game of Chromes.  It's based on the popular book/tv series, Game of Thrones.  I've not read the books yet but they are in my kindle waiting for me to have a few free hours.  I have three polishes from the 8 piece collection for you today.  First up is Through the Moon Door at Midnight.  According to the maker this represents House Arryn.  It is a white with blue shimmer and blue holo glitter.  Plus it glows in the dark!  I hadn't read that before I wore it and scared myself when I went to bed with it on.  This is three coats and top coat.

I was playing around with this polish and tried it over a black on a nail wheel.  Look at all this amazingness!  This is one coat over black plus top coat.

Next up is Hold the Wall representing Nights Watch.  This is a sheer polish that shifts from purple, blue, green, and yellow.  First let me say this was crazy hard to capture on camera.  It's so pretty in real life though.  I layered it over a few different colors so you could get a good idea of what it would look like.  From left to right is two coats of Hold the Wall over Zoya Mira, Sation Miss Emo Shun All, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk and FingerPaints Black Expressionism.  Over the gray it is closest to the bottle color but I love it over Mira.

Lastly I have Debts Paid, of House Lannister.  This is a clear base with gold and platinum flakies, silver chunky holo glitter, and a ton of gold glitter.  I layered one coat over KBShimmer Men are From Mars-ala.  It's gorgeous you guys!  Tons of gorgeous glitter and amazing application.

So what do you think?  This collection is launching tonight (12/30/14) in the Dragon Claw Polish shop.  The polishes retail for $7.95 and thermals are $8.95.  Also the bottle shape is different from my last review.  Janet has been trying out different types of bottles and is now settled on one.  Be sure to like Dragon Claw on facebook to keep up to date on the latest happenings.  I hope you guys liked today's polishes.  Thanks for stopping by and reading.

Until next time...

Dragon Claw Polish Review

*Press Sample*

Good morning everyone!  Today I have a few polishes from a brand new indie line to show you.  Dragon Claw Polish is 5 free and cruelty free indie line that will be launching November 7th will three fun collections.  Today I have one polishes from each of the premier collections.  I was also sent a mini bottle of Dragon Claw's quick dry top coat, Diamond Claw.  I used it with all the polishes.  I'll give you my findings at the end.   Oh and I'm trying out macro shots again.  Let me know what you think.  I will master these someday.

First up is Ant Venom from the Ick Made Pretty collection.  This is an orchid/purple chrome polish.  Two coats made it opaque and it applied very well.  I had zero issues with the formula and application.

Up next is Chewy Rainbow Bands from the Toys Everywhere! collection.  This is based of the Rainbow Loom Bands that Janet's, the lady behind the brand, little one is always finding and chewing on.  This is a pink jelly with different sized and color glitters in it.  When I tried this on it's own I still had visible nail lines (vnl) at four coats so I decided to layer it over a bright pink cream, Rica Pinky Promise.  I applied two coats of Chewy Rainbow Bands.  I struggled to get the blue and yellow glitters out.  I had to get them on the neck of the bottle and then fish them out with the brush and put them on the nail.  The final look is great it just took a bit of work.

Finally we have my favorite of the bunch.  This is Bren from the Girls of Famous Asian collection.  So much pretty here!  This is the perfect denim blue polish.  I used there coats to make it perfectly even and opaque.  I wore this one for a few days I loved it so much.

I topped all these polishes with Diamond Claw quick dry top coat.  I'm pretty impressed.  Within a few minutes my nails were touchable.  At the 15 minute mark I was pretty good to go.  I could dent the polish if I dug in the edge of another nail but was able to do things.

Don't forget these and many others are releasing on November 7th.  Have a great day!
