This first one is one of my favorite combos!

Who doesn't love the Grinch?  So cute!

Super simple and elegant.

Hello!  How is everyone today?  I hope you have your bibs ready for today's mani.  You'll need it to catch the drool.  This is seriously amazing.  I used two polishes from one of my all time favorite indies, Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  This is Void Stuff with an accent of Zero Balance Dwarf Star Alloy.  Two coats of each polish was all that was needed.  I added a pink snowflake decal from Lacquer by Lissa to complete the look.  These decals are so easy to use.  I pull them off the backing with tweezers, place them on the nail and then top coat the whole thing.

Until next time...

NYC Midnight Beauty Collection (partial) Review

*Press Sample*

Hello!  Today I have two polishes from the New York Color (NYC) Midnight Beauty Collection.  First up is Animal Instinct.  This is a gorgeous orange shimmer polish.  I used three coats and top coat for today's pictures.  The formula on this one was kind of a pain.  It was still streaky after two coats but the polish was thickening up on me while I was tying to apply it.  That said I'm in love with the color.  It was nice and bright.

Next up is Rock Muse, a Smokey Top Coat, a black jelly base with different sized silver glitters.  Since this is a jelly base and I'm not a huge fan of visible nail line I started with a black cream then applied two coats of Rock Muse.  This has great glitter payoff and was super easy to work with.  Since this is a great Halloween polish I added a jack 'o lantern decal from Lacquer by Lissa.

NYC is found a drug stores and large retailers.  This collection is available now.  These are great Halloween polishes that can definitely be worn year round.

Lacquer by Lissa Halloween Decals

*Press Sample*

Okay so I know it's not even October yet but I really wanted to show you guys these awesome decals now so you'd have plenty of time to get some before Halloween.  I did a quick cling wrap mani using Rica Whiteout, Zoya Mira and China Glaze Recycle.  Then I put on an assortment of Halloween decals from Lacquer by Lissa.  I love the witch but the jack o lanterns are my favorite!  Just like the other decals I showed you these were super easy to use.  I used tweezers to pick them of the backing and place them on the nail.  Sealed it all up with top coat and I was good to go for a few days.

So what do you think?  Are you ready for Halloween manis?  I know I'm ready for Halloween candy!  Head on over to the Lacquer by Lissa shop and pick up some Halloween decals.  Follow along on facebook to keep up to date on all the latest information.  I'm sure you will be seeing these decals again as it gets closer to Halloween.  I want to try them out with a glow in the dark polish.  Have a great night!

Lacquer by Lissa Fall Leaves Decals

*Press Sample*

Hey everyone!  I was sent some nail decals from Lacquer by Lissa to review.  I received a great grab bag of different decals.  I can not wait to show you guys the Halloween ones.  The other day I put on China Glaze Choo Choo Choose You.  It pretty much screams fall.  In the sun it looks sort of purple and inside it pulls more brown.  Anyway, I knew these fall decals would be perfect for this mani.  Lacquer by Lissa decals were super easy to use.  I used tweezers to pull them from the paper backing and place them on the nail.  They stayed where I wanted them to once on my nail.  Then I just used my finger to smooth over it and make sure it was fully on the nail.  Top coated the whole thing and was good to go.

These decals are thick enough that I didn't feel like I was going to rip them while applying but not so thick that they stuck way off the nail.

I'm hoping by wearing this mani it will encourage some fall-like weather here in the desert but I don't think it's working.  So hot you guys!  Be sure to stop by the Lacquer by Lissa shop and check out the other decals.  I want the Peace, Love and Nails set.  So cool!  Also give her a like on facebook to keep up to date with giveaways and new sets.

Have a great night!

Sara
