Halloween Nails

Hey guys!  I have a quickie Halloween nails post for you today.  I started out with Zoya Serenity and then did a 30 second gradient with Salon Perfect Wicked.  I had to run out to pick my son up from the bus stop and had to slap it on super quick.  The pumpkin is a nail vinyl but I can't remember where it's from.  Sorry about that.

I'd love to see your Halloween nails too.  Feel free to drop a photo by my facebook page.

Until next time...

Messy Jessi Porcelain Berry

*Purchased by me*

Hey guys!  Today I have a new to the blog brand, Messy Jessi.  This is my first time ordering from Messy Jessi and I couldn't be more pleased.  The maker is in a small Arizona nail lovers group with me and when she posted the pre-order info I couldn't resist Porcelain Berry.  You guys know of my epic love for this color family.  Porcelain Berry was so smooth and creamy (I always think of butter when I say that).  I used two coats and top coat for photos today.  My accent nail is Salon Perfect Mad About Mod.  I was super worried about bubbling on this one after my issues with a similar glitter from them but I'm happy to report this came out well.

I really have nothing but great things to say about my first experience with Messy Jessi.  Doesn't hurt that we are in the same state so I got my polish super fast.  If you guys want to check out the shop for yourselves chick here.  Sally's Sportscar is next on my list from this shop.  Have a great Monday!

Until next time...

I Believe That We Will Win

Hello!  Anyone else living in a house that has World Cup fever?  My husband and oldest son love soccer.  We've watched just about every match so far.  I'm sure my boys will run around all day tomorrow singing I Believe That We Will Win at the top of their lungs.  I do admit to watching today's France/Nigeria match while on the treadmill because these guys have awesome legs and mad skills.  So let me give you the polish run down here so we can move on to the bubble issues.  My base is OPI No Room For the Blues, one of my favorite blues.  Then I used Salon Perfect Save Me a Spot, the large circles, and Boom Boom Boom, the smaller hexes.  First I have to say that I love this idea.  The problem was the thickness and quantity of the base.  Especially Save Me a Spot.  Holy cow it was so thick!  I had to pick the circles out of the bottle and place them on the nail which caused to much base to glob on my nails.

I top coated it all and it dried pretty quick so that was a positive.  I was given some advice on how to apply glitters like this using a make up sponge that is supposed to help minimize the bubbles.  Did any of you have any better luck with these polishes?

Until next time...GO USA!!!!

Nicole by OPI I'll Be At The Pool

*Purchased by me*

Sun
Hey all!  Do you ever come across polishes that just scream "Wear me together!"?  I picked up Nicole by OPI I'll Be At The Pool for cheap at TJ Maxx.  Blue, glass flecky goodness?  Yes please!  Shortly after I was at Walmart (because it's the only place I can buy these crackers that I'm addicted too) and came across Salon Perfect Touchy Feely.  I immediately knew it needed to be worn with the NOPI.  I'll Be At The Pool is two coats with topcoat and then I added a little gradient of sorts using Touchy Feely.  Pure love I tell ya!

I hope you all have a great night and a great tomorrow!

Until next time...
