China Glaze Tongue & Chic

Sun

Good afternoon lovelies!  I'm not usually big on fall color but I knew that China Glaze Tongue & Chic was going to come home with me.  It's a gorgeous darkened teal that was perfect and opaque in one coat.  Yes you read that right, one coat.  So to make this even better I used Rendezvous With You as an accent nail and it was also perfect and opaque in one single coat.  All my pictures are one coat of both polishes and topcoat.  It really bares repeating, one coat!  These are seriously perfect.  Makes me happy that I spent Mr. MLiP's money on them haha.  I also bet these would be great for stamping.

These are the only two I bought from the fall collection.  Am I missing out on any?  Any others I should rush out and buy?  I've kinda been eyeballing Strike up a Cosmo.

Until next time...Have a great Thursday!

Essie Naughty Nautical and Sunday Funday

Essie Naughty Nautical Sunday Funday
Sun
Hello everyone!!  Today I have two polishes from the new Essie summer collection that were just made to wear together.  Naughty Nautical is a gorgeous teal with shimmer and Sunday Funday is a great coral with shimmer as well.  I love them both but we all know how I feel about teals so it's definitely my favorite.  The formula on both polishes was really good actually.  Naughty Nautical was almost perfect in one coat.  This mani is two coats with topcoat.  I used my dotting tool to add dots with Naughty to my Sunday Funday accent nail.

So have you picked up any from this collection yet?  I kinda still want the greenish yellowish one but I know that's not my kinda color.  Since I love teals so much I'd love to know, what is your all time favorite teal polish?  I don't know that I can even answer that question haha.

Until next time my lovelies...

*I stalked two different Targets for over a week to find these polishes.  Then when I found them Mr. MLiP told me I had to wait to buy them.  Sad times for sure.*

Orly Go Deeper

Shade

Good morning!  How was your long weekend?  We had a great, relaxing weekend here.  That's my favorite kind.  Today I have a polish that I've been wanting since I first saw a swatch of it a while back.  Someone described it as a toned down teal version of Across the Universe (but I can't remember who).  I knew it had to be mine but I couldn't find it anywhere.  Even online it only came up on Orly's website and was over $10 with shipping.  I'm not sure that it's been released yet to regular retailers.  My friend, Heartfully, Janelle, offered to look while at one of our favorite nail supply stores and they had it.  So freakin excited and it was cheap.  So take a look.  This is two coats of Go Deeper over one coat of China Glaze Custom Kicks.  This polish really changes depending on what you put it over.  I tried it on a wheel over Zoya Ibiza and it looks like a completely different polish.

Major swoon going on over here.  I love this polish so much.  What do you think of the Orly Glam FX that have been coming out?  I have a few but this is my favorite.  Have a great Tuesday!

Sation Oh My Oceania

Sun
Boy oh boy do I have a cool polish for you today.  I saw a swatch of this somewhere and immediately knew I had to have it.  Luckily there is a supply shop in town that sells Sation and got the new bottles in.  Unfortunately I hardly ever get out there because I can't take the kids with me.  Through the lovely nail polish community I've made a friend that lives pretty close.  She was kind enough to pick this up for me.  She just started a brand new blog.  Click here to go check out Heartfully, Janelle and show her some love.

This is two coats of Sation Oh My Oceania.  It's a gorgeous teal with a blue shimmer.  I'm just in love.  Unfortunately the brush in my bottle is a disaster.  I have pretty wide nails but this wonky super flat, wide brush made the biggest mess on the skin around my nails.  I have since picked up a few more Sations and the brushes are fine so I think it was just this bottle.

Do you see that gorgeous shimmer?  I'm in love!  I hope you all have a great day.

Zoya Zuza

Today I have for you two coats of pure perfection.  For over a year now Zoya Charla has been my favorite nail polish.  Zoya Zuza has now taken over that spot.  I have major love for this teal color family right now and foils are one of my favorite finishes.  This is two coats of Zuza with a Charla accent.  The formula on Zuza was perfection.  No clean up at all.  I will definitely be wearing this over and over again.

What did you all think of the Zoya summer collections?  So far Zuza and Myrta have been my favorites.  Hope you all have a great day!

It's Twins!

It's twins on my nails! I have been wanting some of the Essence Nail Art Twins forever but as we all know they were never available in the US. Luckily I met a lovely lady in the Netherlands through a facebook group that was kind enough to hunt these down and send them to me. Today I'll be showing you Bella and Edward. I also recieved Chuck and Blair that I will show you later. The formula on Bella was awesome. Two easy coats. Bella is super close to one of my all time favorites, China Glaze Custom Kicks. The only real difference is CK has a golden shimmer in it. Edward is the sparkly, glitter top coat. I put two layers on just to make sure everything was covered. Take a look at the pictures. This color plus the glitter tends to freak my camera out a bit, sorry.

This combo is so much fun and it wore like iron. Do you have any twins?

Cult Nails Let Me Fly and Clairvoyant

Good morning! Today I have the amazing combo of Cult Nails Let Me Fly and Clairvoyant (aka Unicorn Puke). I love, love, love this mani. Let Me Fly is a gorgeous teal with a very pretty shimmer. It went on in two effortless coats. Just like we've all come to expect from Cult Nails.

Isn't that just amazing? Then to make it even better I added a coat of Cult Nails Clairvoyant. I'm sure you've all heard of Unicorn Puke. This is the same polish with a different name. It has multi-colored flakies in a purple tinted base. So pretty I just want to put in on everything!

Told you it was amazing! I don't even have the proper words to describe this. On a funny note, when I was trying this out on a nail wheel, I showed my husband and he said "That looks like unicorns". I know my husband has never heard of Unicorn Puke so it made me laugh.

Have a great day!
