Barielle Vibrants For Spring 2014

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  Tonight I have swatches and a review of Barielle's Vibrants collection for spring 2014.  This is a nice collection of good quality cream polishes.

Take Me Shopping is a bright, hot pink.  This is two coats and topcoat.

Designer's Shoe is a purple with blue tendencies.  This had the greatest formula!  Two coats and topcoat shown here.

Fire Me Up is a bright, in your face orange.  This is the only polish that required three coats.  Shown with topcoat.

My City Apartment is a lovely medium gray.  Two coats and topcoat shown in the photos.

First Class Ticket is a beautiful blue.  It has the same great formula as the others.  Two coats with topcoat shown.

There is also a mint polish called Money Talks.  I don't have photos currently because each time I put it on it yellowed for some reason.  I tried three different topcoats and it happened every time.  Anyone have any ideas what may have caused that?  I'm at a loss and didn't want to post gross pictures.  You can purchase Barielle polishes here and give them a like on facebook here.  Hopefully I'll be back this week with a review of the other Barielle spring collection, The Velvets.  Have a great day!

Until next time...

Shimmer Polish Trisha

*Press Sample*

Hello and happy Sunday!  Today I have another stunner from Shimmer Polish.  This is Trisha.  I layered one coat over Barielle Take Me Shopping, from their new spring line.  Trisha is nice and smooth with just one layer of topcoat.  Just like every other Shimmer I've used the quality of the formula and application is seriously topnotch.

You can find Shimmer Polish here on etsy and here on facebook.  Go check them out.  They are worth it!

Until next time...

Zoya Dillon & Rebel

*Purchased by me*

Hello!  Today I have combined two of the new Zoya spring collection polishes into one mani.  I started with a base of Zoya Dillon, the green.  I used two coats but if I hadn't been covering it up with another color I probably would have done three.  Then I used a straight design from Nail Vinyls to mark off where I wanted to put Zoya Rebel, the blue.  Since I didn't wear it on it's own I'm not sure on coats for Rebel but it did seem slightly more opaque than Dillon.  I topped it all of with a quick dry topcoat, Glossy Glam, and this is the result.  I had some polish try to pull up on my index finger just because I didn't wait long enough for it to dry before putting the sticker on it.  I think the topcoat smoothed it out pretty well though.

I knew when Zoya first released bottle shots from this collection that I would need to pick these two up for sure.  They are definitely my kind of colors.  Did you snag any from that collection yet?  What's your favorite?

Until next time...

A Dotticure Gone Wrong

*Purchased by me*

Hey all!  I have a quick NOTD post for you.  A facebook group I'm in is doing all kinds of different manis this month and today was dotticure.  This combo never quite came together the way I wanted it to.  I used Different Dimension Load of Baubles (pink), Can We Carol On (holo in the middle) and Black Dahlia (dots).  Originally I wanted Can We Carol On for the dots but it's kind of sheer and you couldn't see them.  Oh well!  Can't win them all I suppose.

Have a great evening!  Until next time...
