SinfulColors Silk & Satin Collection Review

*Provided for Review*

Hey all!  Today I have a review of three polishes from the SinfulColors Silk & Satin collection.  They describe these as a demi-matte silk finish.  In person they are in between a regular shiny finish and a full on matte.  Kinda neat actually!  First up I have Real Teal.  This is two coats with no top coat obviously.  I love how the top picture shows its shiny side and the next picture shows its matte side.  The formula was really smooth and easy to use.

Next up is Pipaya.  The color is described as a coral but this pulls almost red on me.  I used two coats but I'm thinking I should have used another one.  The formula was consistent with Real Teal.

Lastly I have Prime Purple.  This one came off the most matte of the three I wore.  Again nice smooth formula and application.  I only have one photo sadly because it was so overcast and starting to rain when I put this on.

Are you guys matte fans?  I really like them but with my job they don't last long.  You can find SinfulColors on facebook here.  Give them a like so you can keep up to date with new releases.

Until next time...

SinfulColors Full Throttle Review

*Press Sample*

Hello!  How is everyone today?  Today is my 13th wedding anniversary.  I can't believe it's been that long and that my husband still loves me haha!  I have a review today of three polishes from the latest texture line from SinfulColors, Full Throttle.  I'm posting these in the order I wore them.  There's either a bit of a learning curve or the orange was just not as textured.  By the time you get to the blue you can see I was able to get full texture on all nails.  This first polish is Burn Rubber.  I used base coat and two coats of polish.

Next, this is Red Tired.  Again I used base coat and two coats.  The texture was more even with this polish.  Although I think I could have used another coat.

My final choice from this collection is Rain Rubber.  As with the others it is base coat and two coats of polish.  This one had the best formula hands down.  I'm so in love with this color!

So there you have it!  The five piece Full Throttle collection is available now at Rite Aid and Walgreens.  Head on over to facebook and give SinfulColors a like to stay up to date on new releases.  Are you a fan of texture polishes?  What's your favorite?  Have a great night all!

Until next time...

Pacifica Unicorn Horn

*Press Sample*

Hey all!  Today I have a pretty polish from Pacifica to show you.  This is Unicorn Horn layered over Zoya Rocky and OPI Feel the Mo-heat-oes Green.  I used one coat of Unicorn Horn for this mani.  It has a cool pink shimmer that shifts around depending on the lighting situation.  It was hard to capture it all with my camera.

Don't forget that Pacifica polishes are 7 free.  This means they are free of parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals.  You can check out the Pacifica polish line on their website here and give them a like on facebook here.  They have a wide variety of colors.

Until next time...

Sally Hansen Color Frenzy Review

*Press Sample (Color Frenzy polishes were provided for review.  All others I purchased.)

Hello!  A while back I received four fun glitter polishes from the Sally Hansen Color Frenzy line.  I showed you Red, White and Hue here.  It was the perfect 4th of July glitter.  Today I have the other three I received.  Let's start with my favorite of the bunch, Spark & Pepper.  S&P is a black and white glitter with metallic shards.  It does have bars in it but it wasn't overloaded with them.  This is one coat over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear (SHXW) Very Cherry plus top coat.  I have to tell you guys that I cleaned 4 houses with this mani and there was not one chip when I was done.  Amazing!

Next up is Candy Drops over SHXW Perfect Pearing.  This again is one coat plus top coat.  In person this mani was fun, bright and awesome.  I don't feel like that translated well in pictures.  I got so so many compliments on this combo.

The final polish today is Fruit Spritz over SinfulColors Prime Purple.  This is one coat plus top coat.  I wanted to do another coat but the base is pretty abundant in these polishes so I knew another would cause bubbling.

So all in all I like these polishes.  The glitter combos are fun and easy to pair with base colors.  I did have bubbling issues that I think come from the sheer amount of base in these.  Especially in the sparser glitter mixes.  You can pick these up at all the regular places, drug stores, Ulta and stores like Target.  If you'd like to follow along with Sally Hansen on facebook click here.  I find that is the easiest place to keep up with the many lines and new releases.  I'm currently lusting after the new summer pastels.  They look great!

Until next time...

Sara
